I think it can be passed multiple times.

I’m assuming the Night you pass that you are BP, and that your target doesn’t become God until Night ends (and therefore can still die before being confirmed)

I should mention that it won't become active until after night actions are processed at dawn.  So if you pass it to someone at the same night that they die then it's just gone.
