So, I was going to comment on the whole 5 years ago vs now meta, blah blah, but I think Shad pretty much summed up my thoughts here.  Aside from the above, I think the discussion is a big distraction and useless overall. But it may be useful to look at who is making a big deal out of it.

And then immediately says IT DOESN"T MATTER like the Rock. Here's what I think about this at this point. Being the first to claim a role is ballsy as mafia I think in this type of game. I have a feeling it is probably kitchen sink'd up knowing Darthe. If Mafia all have moves, this is an easy claim to make because you can claim your true role with a town lie in front of it without fear. If mafia doesn't have extra special roles, then fake claiming this early on is super risky. Therefore I believe Lenlo is tracker, but it is not indicitive of alignment.

Fwiw I had the same thought re Lenlo’s tracker claim. If town has a bunch of active PRs then it would make sense for scum to have a watcher/tracker sort of informative PR. Not saying he’s scum but there’s a world where a scum tracker makes sense and it’s still a relatively safe claim to make.

 

anyway, he’s tabled for me pending more info as the setup becomes more obvious. I don’t have a glaring issue with his posts in ISO save for maybe humoring that EP’s points were actually good

Still trying to wrap my mind around the idea of a scum watcher/tracker. I've never seen that in a game before I believe.

The question for me here is whether or not Lenlo is a sloppy player?

 

Scum power roles are not new and the above mentioned are common among them.

Think of them as weaker role cops. They can help the scum team identify PRs and maybe even figure out what they are

Ive seen it. Maybe even modded such a game. If i recall typically its a town watcher and scum tracker but it can very. Especially at the hands of a lunatic.
