Which is precisely why I have a problem. If Town!you wants to vote, you'll vote so why should other peoples voing even enter your head here?

 

If you didn't vote because you wanted her to answer whether or not she had experience then why add the bit about people already voting? The fact that you did means that you're aware of the fact that people voted her and are possibly(?) wary of joing the train.

 

You're working to justify a potential vote, which is something I've seen you do more as mafia than town.

You're also being closed now; you have town reads/leans, but reading through your ISO I have no idea who; if I had to guess I'd say Laine and Cairos.

 

 

 

No Vote is absolutely a bad idea. Currently we're at 10v3, assuming a lynch and NK every day that gives us 4 mislynches before losing. Numerically we still get 4 mislynches if we No lynch today, BUT we end on mylo instead of lylo and that's generally worse for town. It also means we start tomorrow in a similar position to today and people are saying that they're finding it hard to post without much info.

Yeah, I can see Clov’s point here. But equally I think that Dice was just annoyed with me. I think that makes Tabor and RTE town. Nobody is willing to consider No Lynch so chances are extremely high that it will be one of the current trains that ends in a lynch. Not locked in on this interpretation, but seems likely at the moment.

Yes I have played here before but it had been a very, very long time.

 

I phrased that awkwardly and I apologize. I was trying to work out the thought process for someone to say "throwing in the towel". Upon rereading I now see that Taborline didn't mean it how I had thought she did when I first read it.

 

As for agreeing/disagreeing with things already said, I've never been one to like it. I'm terrible at writing essays for uni because of it as I don't see the point in restating something multiple times in slightly various ways.

 

I don't like how RTE is jumping to the defense of a few people and then never really going back to it.

Ok first I shall address my vote on RTE. As the deadline was very close, I was trying to find what he had said that made me uncertain of his alignment. What made me uncertain was that he FOSed everyone who voted Taborline because she's new. In the games I've played in the very distant past, when someone FOSed everyone who voted for one person they tended to be scum. That added to how it felt like he was trying to gain town cred, made me lean toward him being scum.

 

Now, I know the last minute vote looks bad, not everyone needs to say that it looks bad because I already know, but I panicked. I felt I needed to vote and I didn't have a read on Dice at all so I voted for the one I thought I might have a read for. I also quite honestly had forgotten it would be a random lynch as I had also forgotten that this isn't a hammer game.

 

I know Dice mentioned how he didn't understand why I had votes D1 but I think he did that in case at any point during the game he was lynched and a townie would definitely soon follow.

Red - mostly little things. As a general impression up until this morning I didn't really know what he was thinking, he seems distracted(?) I don't know really. I feel that he 'should' have been reading me better yesterday, but maybe he'd say the same about me? His follow up on the Cairos vote seemed almost nudgy? Equally I don't know that I've ever read him as mafia when he's been mafia, but this sort of confusion is frequent when he's town. I think we just seem to be in different places with regards the thread. I liked the vote on Cairos (prior to his follow up), I liked his read on Razen(? think it was Razen).

 

Green - lol, Dice was playing well, I'm not lambasting you for the read :) But today I don't really understand how you're voting Razen Lessa, while still thinking RTE and Tabor are scummy, yet she voted both of them with you yesterday. Dislike most of this post.  I don't know if she just doesn't have the experience in mafia, but I think the bold is actually pretty standard scumplay - obviously mafia can't just latch onto all of their teammates the entire game, so they typically find SOMETHING negative about them.  Also disagree with the idea that RTE was the one who really got the ball rolling on Dice.  He might have been the first to mention Dice, I'm not sure, but I think most would agree BFG was the first (and really ONLY) reason that Dice got pressured D1.

 

As for the bottom, I feel like I'm reading a different thread than what's being said.  The quote about me is just blatantly wrong.  @Taborline - where are you seeing me saying defending is scummy?

I think Taborline's post was more likely to be bad okay than an outright scum claim. Could be bad town, could be bad mafia, but I'm not going to lynch him for it.

Similarly, I don't fault anybody for taking the stance against him. Razen's post was a very understandable conclusion - I don't think he was reaching (or completely making anything up) when he said it looks like role fishing.

I wasn't trying to actually analyze all the votes, I was just trying to give the first thoughts I had.  I really don't have much of a read on Sooh at this point.  Off the top of my head, early position on a D1 mafia lynch is a plus, but I really don't remember any content from her this game.  The vote doesn't seem incredibly clearing for me because Mafia!Sooh might have thought it was a distancing point since Dice really wasn't at risk of being lynched at that time.

I still can't put Sooh on the same level as BFG based on how much work BFG did towards the lynch, and Sooh's vote didn't have the same impact on the lynch that Razen's did.  Her actual vote was pretty weak to me.  "Let's see what happens" doesn't really give me the impression she was super comfortable with the lynch.  She DID say that nobody stuck out as particularly scummy, but I'm just not in love with it.

 

That being said, the whole progression looks decent.  The post towards Hallia suggests that she really did want people to take a stance on it, and the fact she didn't want to be the one to break the tie is definitely a huge plus for her.  

 

@Sooh - is there any reason you DIDN'T vote RTE when he was a viable candidate and apparently in your POE?  What did your POE look like beyond Dice/RTE?

How am I supposed to find likely/unlikely teammates for somebody whose flip we don't have?
