Anyone else catch this line:

"I will never cross back over that line—whatever else happens, I will have written three books in this series."

Does he mean THIS series, like there is a possibility of some sequels or prequels that are technically in a different series? Or does he mean that these won't happen period? Or does he mean that they may happen, but not with him writing?

So many questions, but very excited about the end. It has been a long time coming!

I feel so lucky to have been a fan of this series through the death, drama and delay. It has enriched my experience in the books as a whole in such a way as I can not explain. I carry WOT very close to my heart.

Bravo, Brandon. Your comments on the completion of AMoL are as eloquent as the eulogy you wrote for Jim. God bless you for your integrity and hard work on these books.

Why is Egwene there? and not Nynaeve?

Does it imply that Nynaeve dies or is it just to continue the Egwene wonderwoman bullshit?

I'm guessing because Mat, Rand, Egwene and Perrin were the 4 young people who left Emond's Field at the very beginning of the series. It started with them, and Brandon wanted to come full circle and end with them. Dunno, just a thought.

Without spoilers, about the only one that could be considered not a major political power in those four would be Perrin, and even then he's basically in charge of the wolves at the very least. Nynaeve, I'm sure, -is- important, but she's not a world leader. When you say "You and what army?" The other three can say "Mine" Nynaeve, at best, can say "My husband's"

Well technically Lan's army is Naynaeve's as the marriage ceremony was completed under the sea folk ways, in which the decision between the two of them was that Naynaeve would essentially be the "boss" of the pair.

jason, you are very clear and right about it but please try to understand us, we've been waiting it for 20 years:) Brandon did very good job, but it would be the best if RJ were alive and signed our books.. We've only 5 months and it's very exciting to create many theories about the book, after we have read it, there will be no more books which frightens me. The best novels have been written along with the LOTR and congratulation for ROBERT JORDAN, Brandon and Team Jordan. I hope there will be movies or tv shows about it.

I feel that I owe Brandon Sanderson nothing. All he did was his job, and I bet he got paid good for it. RIP J.O.R. Even though I love the Wheel of Time with all my heart, I think that it should be thankful to me, and other fans like me. Fans that read, and re read. That wait years and years between each book, but still hang onto the story. The fans are the real hero's. Well, us and the real author. But all of this is just MY OPIONION.

Is this right ?

Mr Sanderson has in his twitter said that the book will include 365 000 words.

Currently in The Lord if Chaos in my re-read of the series in anticipation of the final book. Not quit sure of my feelings, happy,sad and excited to see the end of this.

Next I'll have to wait for the next Encyclopedia to match the earlier book.

We have reached the end of this long journey, and I can quite happily and honestly say that Brandon was the best choice to guide us down this final stretch. Though I greatly lament the death of RJ, I am comforted that through it such a wonderful artist was revealed, and perhaps even honed, to take us upon a new journey. Thank you Brandon, for all that you have done and continue to do.

I am so glad someone brought Brandon to Harriets attention. He treated the books with the respect that they deserved.

I think it's mild shame about the kibosh being put on any future WoT stories. I feel there is still some room for stories to be told. There were two other prequels that RJ mused about that I was still very much interested in reading.

One was about Tam al Thor and his story from the time he left Emmond's Field as a young man up to the point where he found Rand and returned home. That would have covered the Aiel War in some detail.

The second was another Moiraine & Lan story, about how they came to find Rand, Mat and Perrin and arrive at Emmond's Field mere hours before the Trolloc attack.

I would definitely buy those books if B.S. writes them, and probably even if Harriet hand-picks another author to write them.

The Encyclopedia will be an interesting book, if it clears up all unanswered questions. I would assume that if there will be no more books after the encyclopedia, then we won't get anymore "RAFO" responses. And we can have our every question answered.

In fact, if Team Jordan (B.S. included), were to embark on a sort of "WoT Q&A" tour (after the last WoT publication), and spend 90 minutes fielding questions from fans in each city without a single "RAFO," I bet that'd be pretty successful. I know I would pay $15 or $20 to attend that. Just a thought, Team Jordan...

Yes, there are 20 years from the time Moiraine bonded Lan and they came upon Rand. Twenty years of searching.

I keep hoping they are saying this is the end so people will buy the book and then later decide to continue it in some way.
