Basically, my initial vote on you was that you stood out as being different this game and I wanted to pull the thread and see what happened. Basically nothing much happened, which makes me want to pull more.

 

My question which I've repeated 3 times over now is related to when you asked BFG if she's usually this serious this early in the game. I asked: haven't you played with her before? Wouldn't you know the answer to this question? And if so, what was the point of asking it?

 

In case you missed my other question, I was asking if your original vote on Alanna was serious, and if you're currently serious about your vote on her.

 

I totally answered that first question at the time which was a no I think, or maybe I said that I have an idea but want to see how BFG answered.  Either is kinda true, but truth is weird like that, it's a grey area here.  BFG can fool me and can play well, so I gotta watch that one.

 

Pretty sure you didn't answer the question the first time around, which is why I reasked it three times...if I had missed your answer, I'm fairly certain someone would have pointed it out to me.

 

I also don't get why you thought that 10+ pages and almost halfway into the game day was early for seriousness.

 

pages and time arent really relevant.  Players arent treating it seriously and theres been little action, ergo it isnt yet serious.  or wasnt, I suppose this constitutes some seriousness

I find it strange that you say Darthe is playing it safe, since he's acting completely unlike himself and that's likely to get him lynched. Granted, he's likely to get lynched no matter what he does because he's a skilled player and that makes people nervous. But I think there are a lot better reasons to be suspicious of him than thinking he's acting too cautious. 

 

That is very true, this is more likely to get me lynched.

 

Then again, I am fully aware of that and am intentionally acting as I am anyhow.  Anyone who knows me at all should be able and see that on a base level.

 

So what's your scum game like, then?

 

You'll know I'm a wolf or a town heavy PR on the day that you find me perfectly townie D1.  I care about how you view me as either, so I actually tend to my appearance.  I don't as regular town, so you can find me wolfy in those games since I just say whatever is honest mostly, regardless of its influence on my impression..  

 

Basically, you're only rarely going to catch wolf me D1 and you'll have a harder time getting me lynched if you do.  

 

Can anyone else itt corroborate this?

I think you're very nitpicky and reading posts perhaps as more serious than I would? Your questions make me feel like you're out to get people, which I guess is what you are regardless.

 

 

 

Okay, fair enough if that's your perception. There's actually only one person I know who routinely gets what I'm doing when I do what I do, so I can't blame you if you don't get it.

 

But what specifically do you think i'm being nitpicky about? Who do you think I'm out to get? And how would you propose that we set about finding scum if we're not questioning what they say?

 

To give you a little bit of insight into moi, though, I'll say this: not everything I say is serious. But I definitely will let people know when I am, and I hope you can figure out at this point what I'm actually serious about. 

 

For example, to give you an idea of what I'm getting at with regards to Darthe - what do you think of the fact that he has repeatedly ignored my questions about his comments to BFG about her being serious so 'early" in favour of responding to the more peripheral questions that I've asked.

Without going back to specifically pick apart your posts I'll say that you've asked about things where I would usually let it slide. I can go back and find concrete questions though. It just seems you're trying to find something to ask about with every post, which I guess is towny in a vacuum since wolves sometimes have a tendency to post a lot of commentary. I can't say you're out to get anyone in particular at this point in the game. It seems like you're spreading it around evenly lol.

 

I do ask questions too, but I guess we just have a different threshold for finding things to ask about, at least at this point in the game. 

 

I do hope that Darthe responds to you though, and yes, it's weird that he hasn't.

Cory, BFG, and Ironeyes come to mind.  The posts I've most focused on are yours, Darthes, Kat, and to some extent Nyn's, and that's basically because there are threads I felt needed pulling there. If the thread comes to an end, I don't have to pulll anymore. The Darthe thread has not yet ended.

 

I really don't want to explain my reasoning on thread, but those of you who really are trying to figure me out, read this post and it goes a ways towards explaining my thread in relationship to liz.

Thats the tough thing about mafia.  Until we all contribute wolves have no incentive to participate and townies have no incentive to suspect.  Theres this gap between silence and dominating conversation where you effectively harm yourself by saying more.  You're not wrong that I am not one to sit back and wait, but at the same time I'm not one to stick my neck out without any reason.

Liz read is because she seems more focused than I remember her being as mafia? In that game she spent a lot of time chasing people that weren't suspects and didn't have 'time' to resolve her suspect Day 1. Her Darthe tunnel rubs a little, but I can see her points and she's actively working to resolve him. I can't say the previous game is necessarily representative of her mafia game, but I think I see differences
