I like to hold most of my thoughts until Day 2 since they tend to change rapidly with the lynch and kill because there's so much extra info to go on at that point and I hate pointing to someone and clearing them or condemning them and then doing a 180 within hours because of new info. People tend to get confused and lynch me over it.

 

That said I'm feeling bad about Hallia, Shad, and Hellion.

Could lynch any of these three but prefer Shad overall I just don't think it's happening.

Still for the same reasons as before? I mean we've like 40 pages atp surely you gotta update that.

I can see how that's a town thought process but it's literally the longest of shots. There is absolutely no way anyone missed that. I gotta think though, is our doc really that exposed already?

I'd agree with this. It's like she's fueling off of Zander's QT energy and has gone equally happy/ballistic which I don't think she'd be getting if they were scum.

Shad what's your scum team atm? I feel like I'm in a similar situation as you that I've got some good ideas about who's town but my scum reads aren't panning out much.

No necessarily. I haven't seen anything from Hellion that suggest he is going to be more forthcoming.

Zass, who was voting Shad, is now voting a newer player along with Shad (I don't know why - presumably have to do with Hellian voting Zass).

 

Not sure of the John Snow train. I do think Ironeyes is town - some of his earlier replies sounded genuine. I can't comment much on this train - could very well be mostly townies. But possibility of a scum here. 

 

Nolder suspecting Shad right from the beginning, also think you are town. I can see where you are coming from.

I like what I see of Pral's thought process here.

 

@Pral our vote was initially on Hellian for narrow focus and pressure for him to go wider. Still there at the moment because nothing's changed. I'm not sure about Shad/Nol's follow votes there yet.

 

How do you feel about Nolder voting Hellian after Shad though?

 

John Snow ok vote earlier for presence but lack of hunting/involvement IMO. Don't hate reads list but needs a closer look. Why's the train standing out? What's your own lean on him right now?

Ok - Town you plus bat v Zander I get. Town you plus bat v Zander ending with you walking away I get less. I honestly don't know yet whether I should be finding a tunnel or a scattered approach more Towny or Scummy from you these days. I agree with some of the reads/points you're throwing out, hoping that's a good look. Randomly, WiFi's AtE is the only thing I've directly been iffy on so far. Were you reading her Town/Scum when she was a wolf?

Tbh I don't care if you 180 a thousand times based on rethinking/new information. I'd rather that than keeping mum to see if I can follow your thought process with every change.

 

Again, why vote Hellian if Shad's your top choice for lynch? Why read Shad scummy if he's voting/FoSing the same players as you?

Lack of activity doesn't bother me so much especially since he's new (but he started keen/interactive so ?). For me it's mostly lack of wider thread consideration when he is active, the petering off rather than ramping up, and the not understanding him wrt Nolder/Shad.

Confident enough.

His actions reminded me of when I used to catch Des as scum early.

He'd get really combative and dismissive, more so than necessary.

That's how Shad was coming off to me.

He's tempered his tone somewhat but it wouldn't be enough to shake me even if I weren't for a policy lynch.

Makes no difference to me, scum like to distance early sometimes.

Like I said Hellion seems standoffish and I don't like that.

Unfortunately for Hellion waiting for a better read isn't going to benefit me since I don't have any meta on him so I'd rather just eliminate someone I'm not sure of rather than keep someone else I'm not sure of around but can possibly read better later.

TL;DR Hellion didn't give me enough to work with on D1.

I've had bad experiences before and it just makes more sense to me to hold on until I'm more sure of things.

I've also given strong reads early before and died and was very wrong.

Giving such unsure reads if I feel like I can help it just isn't how I like to play the game anymore.

In your case it's not a matter of 'digging deep' so much as actively pushing/digging at things in ways you think will get reactions ... in a manner I can at least half rationalise as Town.

Last game I was all over the place, intentionally drawing almost universally negative attention to myself. I had a self-clearing role that I could activate at any point I wished.

Mind you that was a majority game as well, I had to pay very close attention so I wasn't mislynched.

 

I will be more entertaining the longer the game goes. This game isn't lubed enough for me to go all in, yet.

I didn't like his opening and it only got worse from there. His OMGUS on me is especially damning, which I'm sure everyone else saw as well.
