I dont know if its just me but you seem to becoming off a little...defensive perhaps the word Im looking for with your posts/responses.

I read my post and thought it might sound too agressive. As you know, I like nice mafia.

Kat's reaction to Tina surprised me but apparently there's some history there. Not sure what to make of it.

Well, it´s not much of a history. We played together for the first time in our last game and we both read each other mafia although we were both town. I will try to keep that in mind because I can get stuck in tunnells sometimes.

But I still think my reasoning for suspecting her in the first place is valid. Nyn asked Wifi why she didn´t ask her mentor for advice and Kat answered for her instead. She wrote "I haven´t seen her yet" which is strange since the only place that Laine would show up is in a private qt with Wifi or in a mafia qt.

For the answering I was playing in another mafia game in which laine was about to be lynched and I hadn't seen her at all. Therefore I thought laine must not be here therefore wish can't ask her questions.

That's all I have right now, although I am concerned how Dice thinks he can have a solid read this early. Or why he expects me to.

Not much. She's playing like she did last game, or it seems that way to me. Like I said last game, I'm an intuitive player, especially early on.

This is not just at you Lily but I dont know if I should be worried, happy or insulted or some kind of combination of them, for these early easy Town reads of me.

My behavior wasn't inherently scummy. I just rethought my stance. He's trying to make something benign into something scummy. It felt like he latched on to the first opportunity he got to do so.

Why not consider your read more carefully before instead of making one and then changing it as soon as someone brings attention to it?

That's good advice. I tend to be impulsive by nature, and I used to overcompensate by being too careful and not posting much. Looking for that happy medium. 

 

I've reconsidered my read on Kat. She's not in my town pile anymore, although I'm not ready to put her in the scum pile. I don't like the way she and Wifi keep answering for each other. The first time, I thought she meant she hadn't seen Alanna online, maybe facebook or something, but it's getting too weird and seems that they are trying to cover it up.

Whether or not I feel it's alignment indicative, I don't think so. I won't get too into it but I think you'd play it the same way regardless. Whether town or scum from a different team trying to figure me out.

 

That said using my personal judgement I don't think you are scum. I will revisit this if we're both alive by like.. D4.

@AJ - I've really gone into my thoughts on Dice pretty specifically at this point, not sure what you are looking for. He did something I didn't like early on, so I'm watching him. I've happened to agree with nearly everything he has said since them so there is definitely a possibility if him going either way in my book.

At this point I'm really not liking Luthine and Kati. Luthine apparently voted Since just because others said he may be suspicious then immediately unvotes when called on it by Dice. Could be lazy play but it looks more like scum trying to appear to be participating.

 

For Kati I read over her post about not having seen Laine at first without thinking of it but I think Niniel made a really good point. After seeing it in that context (thanks for digging up the quotes Zander) I can definitely see that being a scum slip.

 

Errr, no, that's not what happened. My vote hadn't been for Dice, it was for Nynaeve, I put it in on Friday as a "D1 means any random reason is valid", unvoted since suspicious candidates arose. My discussion with Dice was wrt my not committing one way or another about other people's read of him as scum but saying I was starting to warm up to the idea.

More seriously - Nini continues to trend up for me. I've liked the majority of her posts and I think I can read her fairly well. Pretty comfortable moving her into my town pile.

 

Luthien has really good tone, but I still want more concrete content to work with. She goes in the pending pile.

 

Talmanes is trending down a bit, but I want to recheck something before I move ahead on this one. Reason being is that he seems to be doing a lot of following of suspicions and not generating many of his own original observations outside of the "only scum know 100% on D1" theory.

 

I need to read a few in ISO to get a better idea because there are several that remain ??? for me.

If he thought you were scum, he'd PROLLY say it. I think he's observing you. And he's not the only one       Are you saying that usually he's more in your face and you feel like in this game he hasn't been so far?

 

Maybe observing was a better word... but I can definitely tell he's stepping lightly which is kind of off putting considering how we've functioned before in the past. It's not something I want to make a big deal out of, though. D1 doesn't need to be the AJ/Zander show, I'd prefer to get some wagons going and seriously discussing who the wolves are. I would guess there's 4 in this set up, so that's pretty damn good odds for D1 if we buckle down and get it done.

Do you have an opinion on Kat's play other than that? I can accept that caught your attention initially. It would also mean that her and WiFi are partners. What do you think of Wifi?

I had posted in the sign up thread that I was new to this, and I am using a tablet. I gave her an initial townie vote with a clear indication that it could CHANGE!
