How many Mafia games have you played? hah... ummm i have no clue.. this is number 2 since leaving DM 2 years ago though!! lol

 

Do you prefer being town or mafia? Honestly??? I prefer being mafia because at least then i know who SOME people are and don't feel like such an idiot when I help lynch someone on my team. As opposed to vanilla town where everything is guess work and trying to figure out what people are scummy by nature and who is actual scum... 

What do you think your best quality as a townie is? not jumping to quick conclusions. Patience is the key to me in a good townie if you don't want to lynch other townies. Also being able to look at things unbiased.

What do you think your best quality as a mafioso is? Ummmm I"m not a particularly argumentative person?? And I go with the flow... I don't know... lol

Shad has a bit of an "eager puppy" vibe going on right now, and he hasn't to my knowledge taken any stances on anyone. This makes me suspicious of him.

Why?

It just does. It's a slight red flag which may or may not lead to anything substantial, but I wanted to mention it.

It's kind of important to me for you to articulate why. We have a lot of experience together and just wrapped up a w/w game. The "eager puppy" bit is fine. I need to know why lack of stances is concerning from your POV.

 

It was early game, and it was something I picked up regarding you. It's not a condemnation, it was just something I felt was noteworthy in that I know you make your opinion known quite freely and you give good analysis of players. Perhaps it was too early for that? It's just something I wanted to keep in mind going forward.

Only people I feel cant be scum at this point are Cory and Turin. I am 99% on Cory as I play with him alot. On Turin I cant see that threadplay coming from scum.

 

Opinion on Dice remains the same (scum). Thane is trending upwards for me. Kat trending down. Would lynch Dice or Kat. Would like to see more from Thane before making the call there.

Hi I'm Cory!

I've played... IDK, maybe 200-300 long games and a countless number of short games / turbos / video mafia games / real life games. I've been an active mafia player online for around 3 years and offline for about 8.

 

I vastly prefer being a villager. The thrill of solving the game, figuring out where people are coming from, understand and reading and interpreting personal tells appeals to me as I'm naturally the type of person who likes puzzles and psychology / intereaction.

 

I think my best quality as a villager is that I give it 100% and am just a well of effort and I have okay enough leadership skills to make an impact on games I am in. I would say I have somewhat of a reputation of being a "strong" villager. I get uncomfortable when talking about my villager play in general because there's always things I want to imrpove.

 

My best quality as a wolf is definitely that I am extremely hard to lynch.

So many of these mafia games lately have started by people who are really excited about playing together, and the rest of us are not important what so ever. I dislike this behavior intensely, because in being exclusively interested in what that one person you're excited about is saying you're also immediately excluding a bunch of people.

Turin on the other hand; says the read didn't look like a joke; that must be a personal opinion, because it looked like a pretty obvious one for me.  Also, I don't like the linking he tried to do with Thane and myself over what I said to him.

 

I'm not sure that's wolfy for Sooh.

 

I just don't understand what she is saying. She's played with all of us before. I want to understand.

I'm saying that I am not a fan of the behavior as it excludes a bunch of other players. It's not alignment indicative what so ever.

 

It's like there's an IN crowd who are the COOL people and the rest are just wall paint. I dislike that kind of excluding behavior in any environment, I saw it here and I called people on it. 

 

Outside of asking a question about people clearing you for no reason what so ever I don't think I've done any gameplay at all this game yet.

 

As I said, I don't think there is a cool crowd that protects people.  Zander has caught me wolfing, as has Cory and they're pretty much my best fronds ever

It doesn't really work like that though. I at your intro post for the exact same reason Zander later explained.

I actually lean town on Sooh for the controversial post. I just don't see her making that post as mafia. Too likely to draw negative attention.

As someone who used to go off about the Alliance I get where sooh is coming from. It may not be alignment indicative but it can sometimes feel a bit cliquey and can sometimes be a bit annoying.

 

 

Zander you really should remove your vote. She expressed an opinion   a personal opinion at that   and whether she knows u out of game or not she is entitled to that opinion and shouldnt be getting pressured for it.

 

Don't like Dice's defense of Sooh.  He's def. in the suspect pool.  I feel mixed on Sooh  still. :/
