I recall you saying that several things I've done have pinged you. I don't remember you ever making a case against me.

I remember you dropping your vote on me because you weren't getting support. I don't remember you ever trying to get said support.

 

I remember you trying to compare my play here to GnD N0 and to Supernatural. I'm curious if that has garnered anything for you, but that sample size is so small that I don't think any results you get will matter much.

 

I remember you saying that my AtE didn't sway your opinion of me. I'm surprised my activity in solving the game hasn't.

 

Besides stuff focused on me, you have been active and prodding questions and seem to be working on solving the game yourself, which is why I have you as town. I'm just suspicious of your lack of explaining why you have me as scum. What are these "multiple pings" you mentioned earlier?

I'm not getting the scum reads on Turin. Like at all. I just went over his ISO to see if I could figure out why you guys are feeling this way, and I simply can't. I like the progression in his reads list. He doesn't just stick with the same reasons for reading people. His reasons and reads change as the day goes by. He's asking questions and trying to figure people out.

 

Why do you think he's scum? My ISO of him only convinced me of his townyness. I couldn't find a single thing that he did that would be scummy.

There were only 3 times you mentioned me pinging you.

 

There was the comment I made at the beginning of the game about your potential headache, which we drug into the ground until we didn't want to discuss it anymore. We have differing viewpoints on how to handle suspicion. I point out potential issues so my fellow townies can be aware of what I'm noticing. You prefer to have things develop more so they become a more easily noticeable issue to catch people on.

 

There was the comment about me feeling that helping Thane's lynch would clear me as his teammate. You said it wasn't an honest thought.

This game is almost assuredly a 2 scum game. The concept I was driving at was if I was his teammate, and I bussed him to get him lynched, and offered myself as tomorrow's lynch if you didn't believe we couldn't be teammates, we would lose. That's why, in my mind, it wouldn't make sense for us to be teammates, and therefore we aren't.

 

The other ping was during your reread. You commented on my vote on Turin for voting the existing train that early in the game. You compared it to the beginning of GnD where I voted Zander who was already the main train. I pointed out that that game was different for me in that I assumed Zander's lynch was a foregone conclusion for D0. I had the concept that the d0 lynch was decided before the game (which is clear if you read my d0 posts from that game). That game is not a good comparison to how I react to early vote trains.

 

In your reads list, the only things you have to say about me to justify your scum read of me are you not believing my AtE came from a towny mindset, which from your description that it could come from frustration of either alignment makes it null, and your "multiple pings".

 

To you, I have been scummy all game. I just can't wrap my mind around the concept that you can't possibly see me doing anything towny this game.

ATP we had a 3 way tie. Shad broke the tie by voting Lily, but was willing to vote Thane instead. Possibly worth noting that he isn't willing to vote Hally.

Scum!Zander of late has been pretty over-the-top in his accusations--he tends to raise points that don't make coherent sense when you plug them all together, and ask questions without a clear purpose.  Not getting that impression at all here, and I generally feel like I understand where his head is at.  I don't know what Turin's scum game looks like, but I've felt pretty good about him all game.  Tab was completely lost in her first scum game, and granted I read her wrong there I feel like she's already shown more interest and independent thought here, and she's already matched her post count from three phases in that game.  Unless she plays on other sites (I get the impression she doesn't) I don't think there would be a noticeable improvement in her scum game without a mentor.  I think I read Sooh better than most, and I'm picking up on her town tone so far.  Haven't seen her scum in ages, but I'm not worried about her slot at this point.

 

Thane's 'slip' at the start doesn't bother me.  I'm a little surprised by his Tab read--he played in NBC too--and I don't think he's done anything outside of his scum range, but the issues people are taking with him are pretty null to my understanding of Thane.  I think if he's scum it will show in time.  Might do me some good to give his Supernatural game an ISO but I'm not going to get to that before this phase ends.  Hallia not doing that thing she did in Belichick and GnD to be really obvious town makes me exactly null on her on reread.  It's easy to forget that she frequently fails to explain herself much as town too after a solid performance like her last game.

 

I'm pretty meh on Lily in reread.  I can't say I wouldn't have voted her in Supernatural and I don't have any other experience to go on.  Part of me likes that she appears to be looking into people and not just stating reads, part of me feels like it's a bit opportunistic and slimy.  Eldrick I really struggle to swallow as anything but scum.  The AtE did feel sincere to me.  That just means he's frustrated, not that he's frustrated town.  He's set off my scumdar a dozen times in this game, in a way that's different from D0 GnD.

 

I could lynch Eldrick or Lily at this point.  Would rather give Thane and Hallia more time.

 

In his reads list, he has Hally as exaclty null. Not town. Not for or against her lynch.

 

if Shad is scum, there is some serious equity in Hally being his teammate. And I already suspect her.

I legit didn't notice this post of Thane's...mayyyybe poorly worded? But at the same time, I also can see how this is a slip. He is down there with Lily for me.

 

 

 

A couple of reasons I'm not voting Eldrick:

1) Like I said before, every vote is a big deal in a game this small. We have time. That's why I asked about a deadline.

2) He can't always be scum, and I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt until I can't anymore. He'll get there soon enough if he's scum.

 

 

And that is so not the only way. Cop could view him.

Statements like this make me think the scum team is Eldrick and Thane again.
