I disagree with Sooh irt Zander, completely. His play this game is different from how he plays normally on the surface, but that doesn't mean this isn't town!Zander. I could almost say this is a cheap push by Sooh because this is a good opportunity to get Zander lynched for "being different". Sooh's post #339 is probably the first post in a while that doesn't come off wrong to me.

I haven't played with Zander for most of his scum games, so I'm working from memory as to how he seemed to me during those games, and this is the tone I remember from probably his first scum game. Not his latest though. Let's call him an enigma, and I'll move on if anything else presents itself or I get convinced he's town.

Zander scum games: I've played with Zander 4/6 of his scum games and 2/4 of those I was a teammate with him. He's unruley and loveable and tunnels in on one player at a time, generally tunnels a teammate d1 to distance and generally gets them lynched eventually. He also ignores evidence and his reads are terrible and unnatural. Of these things I listed some of them don't change just because he's changing up his playstyle. First of all, he's not tunneling anyone and he's spreading his suspicion. This is indicative of a town Zander. Secondly, his reads are in line with mine currently and I'm not questioning why he's doing what he's doing. This is also indicative of a town Zander. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but Sooh you're barking up the wrong tree.

If you want explanations, I'm just going to YOLO really quick. I've explained my thoughts on Zander, even with his changes I believe he is town, but I probably wouldn't lynch him today regardless because I want more of a sample from him. Anyways, he's town slotted. BFG is feeling more BFG than in Clov's game, which is a strange thing to say but I wasn't really reading her as town last game and here I am feeling a lot better about her. Turin has been providing thoughts and I've mostly liked what he's had to say, I've also enjoyed his pushes and the reasoning behind them. Thane is skating by on his early excitement, but I want MOAR to get a stronger read either way. BG would be my weakest town read since it's based purely on gut at this point, so we'll see what happens there as well. Of course Pralaya is purely null- I don't see any extra activity from him even with a smaller page count so I'd really like for him to get in here and give us his thoughts. Nyn is null for me as well, there are some things I'm looking for from her which I haven't seen so I don't feel comfortable calling her town. Lily is there for her vote thing, Nolder for his, and an overall weirdness. Plus Nolder is pinging for trying to buddy me and an overall gut-scum feeling. Sooh is all over the place and it's frustrating because I don't know what is due to sickness or what could be scummy, so I'll wait for her to improve. She definitely doesn't feel like town!Sooh at this point. Eldrick is different from his normal weird and not in a good way. I agree that some of his posts feel forced and he seems to be posting more jokes than content at this point when I would prefer the opposite especially when some are making an extra effort to tone it down.

pretty much, the closer to blue the more town I'm reading them. So blue, dark green, light green are all town. Black/gray will generally be used as nulls. Yellow, orange, red indicating scum leans. I opt out of using yellow because it's hard to see and I have no red reads, but I generally dont. If a name is partially green/orange, that's due to the extent I find them townie or scummy.

I'm lying down for a nap now so probably won't be available for a bit unless I can't sleep and people start showing up lol

This is a question that needs answering. Also high five on the avatar.

I like Sooh's approach here. She doesn't know anything about me or my meta. So she pokes at me to learn more. Day 1 is all about the subtle pokes and seeing how people react. Underreactions and over reactions are the only meat we really have to go on.

@Turin - I noticed the same soft claim thing but was kind of sitting on it to see if Zander was going to bring it up again or make a big deal out of it again. It always is fishy to me when people bring up claims so early either way, but not knowing meta wasn't sure what to make of it.

I think I'm willing to [v]Zander [/v] for now for this reason. Good as any at this point.

I miss the foreplay

It used to be all fun and games D1 and maybe half a day of 'real play' just before DL. Those times are seemingly dead and buried indeed. But, in this game, i like the lower postcount mixed with high content. It makes games fun and easier to read.

Eldrick, at this point, looking worst of all. Nolder's play gives me a little tingle when reading it. not going to put him to the townie folk, slight wolfie lean. all the other people? If you're black, i still need some time to figure you out, so you're null, for now. You're green without comment? I like the tone and/or gameplay so far

Just caught up but it is time for bed.

I will say that I still completely disagree with Z regarding his character claim. Despite the wording of the op there is NO GUARANTEE any character is town. the was a similar game on one of these themes shows where one brother was town and one was an SK I believe. So no.

Alanna, what caused you to switch Thane and BG? I believe a short time ago you said Thane was your weakest town read bit in your list you have Thane above BG. I don't remember anything recently to cause the change.

Overall, i like Turin's involvement in the game. Questioning, poking, investigating. He's 99.9% town imo this game. When questioned, he does try to explain, in his best way, the point he wanted to make.

Sooh: I don't know. I can't point a finger and say 'town' or 'wolf'. I'll give her some time to get better and perhaps I'll be able to read her better later on in the game.

Nolder: As i said, it's a feeling at the back of my mind when reading his posts this game. Spidey sense, sorta. It's not a full blown wolf-accusation yet, but he's on my radar for now

#117 and #120 from Lily are really pinging me. I understand the explanation on 117, she wasn't caught up yet, but the switch to voting me in post 120 is awful. Also, who is my "scummate" that you're referring to in this post, @Lily? The only people involved in this were me, Zander, and his comments on Lily/Eldrick. If you're saying I'm teammates with Zander, that's just weird that you just came off voting Zander to voting me when you literally just backed out of your suspicion of Zander because your responses were behind.

#131 @Lily Sooh's agreement came after my post, so how was I pushing any case of her's?

#133 @Lily re: Zander/Alanna distancing: LOL we don't distance. We plop ourselves right beside each other as scum and color the other one blue in our reads list.

She was actually backing up Nolder, who brought it up initially. Zander's post seemed serious... once he said it was a joke, I didn't see a problem with Lily unvoting and moving to someone who she felt was taking advantage of the misunderstanding.

I'm liking Nyn and Turin for town at this point.

Alannalynn is bothering me. I feel like she's directing all this attention to me BECAUSE I directed attention to her. I don't like it. It's OMGUSy. And where I come from explaining your own meta as in "I wouldn't do that as scum" or "I always do this as town" is scummy. ANYBODY can change their meta. She's my scummiest read so far, although I still don't like Zander's "joke" and put him in second place.
