So to sum up. Eldrick planned to come into Day 3 at mylo (if they thought it was 4v4 they wouldn't have planned the fake claim), this pretty much confirms imo there aren't 4 mafia.

 

Either Thane is lying and basically lolcatting

 

Or Lily is lying and mafia committed to a strategy Day 2 that at best delayed their win by lynching their PR and at worst would cost them the game at a point when the only people gathering attention were town.

 

 

Frankly neither of these make any sense, but can someone see an alternative possibility?

Who was Lily viewing last night? Like 90% of the time?

Not Thane. Her counterclaimed her. If she knows she's the cop then he's scum by default. I expected her to view Laine, frankly.

Same thing I told Thane earlier when he said he was going to view Lily. A flip of one of them confirms the other as either cop or scum. So what's the point?

I asked Halli for clarification on the matter.

 

She said submission of NAs can be changed as long as it's night time.

But yeah, if Lilys cop I'd assume she'd submit quickly.

 

So in the world where Thane is mafia and knows he's being viewed literally the only thing he can do is claim cop.

 

If he claimed miller he'd be auto-lynched. Only way to claim miller and survive is claim early and be the towniest town to ever live. Or probably be Calder

 

if Thanes mafia it's not necessarily about a winning strategy at this point it's about surviving another day, cos who knows what happens on the next day?

 

 

 

But if Lilys mafia they essentially planned to (as I said) at best delay their win, which increases the chances of the real cop catching them all, and at worst outs them all, and given the strategy outs 2 and pits the third against someone else (bear in mind they don't know whose really cop, what if Nyn claimed cop for real) so drastically increases chances of losing imo.

 

 

I'm probably voting Thane tomorrow. There may be conf bias/wishful thinking in this.
