I was assuming at the time the wolves would kill the guy that hardclaimed seer 

 

Remember that time when I realized that Yates actually might have been the seer, so I made a dozen or so posts explaining why he absolutely didn't peek Zander?  I hadn't ruled out the notion he COULD have been the cop.  I'm not saying my accusation towards him was a lie, because it wasn't - I really did think that was MORE likely.  But I certainly thought it was plausible he was the cop and had a couple innocent peeks, so he was faking a guilty to get his way.

 

Idea was, if that was the case, scum doesn't shoot him after seeing the "peek" on Zander.  I basically convince them it was a lucky guess.  If I had been right, I save the actual cop from counterclaiming.

Regardless, I think it was a crappy post and even if it wasn't intended to manipulate anyone, it would have had that exact effect on me if I were playing the game and that really sucks. To complain about people being friends with/clearing the other players and then say you're leaving the site because of it is like asking people to listen to you because you're not being treated the same way as others.

I legitimately understand being in a bad place, because i sure as hell know I've had some overwhelming past few weeks, but I'm not going to bring that in the game by threatening leaving the site just to get my way, you know?

 

FWIW - In a shocking turn of events, I have no problem with this kind of emotional manipulation.  I will allow you all adequate time to pick your jaws up off the floor.

Lol not surprised at all. But it's one thing to emotionally manipulate people inside the game, another to bring RL into the game. That would be like me saying to you, if you try to lynch me, Chris, I'm never talking to you on skype again. Lol sorry, kthx bye

Well duh! As I stated earlier, it was a reflexive action. I can't unpost thoughts that I realized in retrospect were thoughts that I should have saved for after the game rather than while my blood was boiling...

 

Also, it wasn't even well phrased for communicating my intended thoughts. It was a D effort overall.

I don't know, I felt kind of dirty going on some bs rant about how Laine is a terrible player in Pulp Fiction, but at the end of the day I knew everyone would know I was lying after the game so /shrug.  I've yet to see an AtE play that I consider over the line.

 

Only thing I've seen in mafia so far that I consider kind of cheap is when people bring private conversations with the mods into play.
