Yates: You suck. Also do more VCs in your next game cause.... DAMN.

You know - there wasn't really a lot of voting. I apologize for not being around for the last few days. I've been mod confirmed sick so that's a legit complaint. Before that? I think the number was okay since a lot of the VC's would have been dupes.

Nobody likes to have to page back 5 or 10 pages to get the current vote count or remind themselves of the deadline, though. Better to post the dupes every few pages if there's a lot of talking without voting.

This was super fun though, thanks for modding Yates. Even if you just had to be a punk. It wouldn't be Yates if you didn't lie at some point

fwiw the one thing i had a real problem with was that modtroll post on d1 where Yates said "and i'll be giving the seer their n0 peek when d1 starts"

which probably had no effect on the game but had the potential to do serious damage to villager seer cover

darthe defused it pretty well, but a savvy wolf (of which we had 3 of in this game) would have known kaylee and tress couldn't be seer by default because they believed yates was telling the truth and "modified" their cover to fit his

i know this can be "worked around" but it's still the mod influencing the game in a way that's ultimately pro-wolf for his own amusement / amusement of DT

just a reminder that players playing this silly internet mafia game put a lot of time and investment and don't have perfect information and sometimes do not get a "joke" that might seem obvious to the moderator, so it's probably for the best to try not to spew anything as a moderator JIC

Yates is a troll though so I just assumed he was WIFOMing it.

Yeah when you are a wolf and Darthe is playing well as a villager that's when you know the cards are stacked against you

Wombat: You were in my POE of AJ, Clov, Verbal and you. But at some point I actually thought you looked best out of the four. What made me do a 180 was basically the way you took on Cory. I don't remember what exactly prompted the thunderdoming but that was a huge mistake imo. I think had you pushed AJ or Clov you prolly would have gotten more sway from me. Points for ballsy though lol

I was pretty sure I was gonna be the lynch by the time I started going at Cory.  I was mainly trying to signal my scummates while also keeping a slim chance open of totally messing the town core up.  It actually almost worked wrt AJ I think but Cass and Verb were still more suspected than he was.  Kudos to Cory for calling me down without a peek.

Posted

wombat did you think Cory was the seer at that point? After your flip I thought the move was sort of brilliant as if you were trying to force him to claim.

The back and forth made me legit dreadful and I almost 180'd but I'm glad I stayed put to resolve you first.

Wombat, Cass, Dice scumteam.

No you weren't.

To sum up.

Sooh: My biggest regret is misreading you. At the same time I think you can most definitely fine tune your reactions so they're more proportionate.... so (hopefully) I won't make that mistake again. Plus it didn't help that it's our first game together so I didn't really know how to approach you in general. I think I learned a bit from this game in that regard. Hopefully I'll pick up more in future games. =)

Songstress: I didn't really need Darthe's flip and him being your seer cover to think you were town (though it didn't hurt!). I mean, yeah, you were scarce at first due to RL but when you started to get into the game you made some really good posts/reads and I didn't tinfoil on you at all, I think. The way you approached Cory was also very telling to me. You sort of manhandled him when he started to get a bit emo lol And I don't know, I just associate that with your town game. You weren't nervous about meeting him head on and telling him what's what.

Cass I underestimated you and that's my bad. Won't happen again. I'm just glad I eventually came around about you. Both because of Cory's read and because one of Clov/AJ had to be town and they were both pretty bent on lynching you. Add that to AJ promising to lynch Clov if you flipped town and I pretty much conceding with lynching you first. Another thing that added to my change of hearts is what I pointed out... ie your focus on AJ when it was between you and Clov. Felt like you knew Clov was gonna flip town and you were doing prep work for the next day where it would inevitably be between you and AJ. And that all really boils down to having a really strong town core, like Cory said. That was our saving grace in this game. Because had I started tinfoiling on Tress or Kaylee, or they'd start tinfoiling on me.... you would actually have had a shot.

Andrej: We're usually bad at reading each other. You seemed to read me really well this game, though. I unfortunately did not return the favor. I just never really see myself trusting you till later in the game, if even that. And while I constantly had you in my POE, I feel like EVENTUALLY I did manage to feel better about you, compared to Cass/Clov. So there's that. ie I don't think I would have lynched you before lynching Clov and Cass first. The freak out in the end that involved Yates' trolling was only because I thought Cass was cleared and she was sitting on you and not around.... so I felt like I had no choice but to consolidate. But I mostly thought Clov was a better lynch option.

Kaylee: Pretty much addressed you in my earlier post. You did a good job at reflecting your alignment and that's important to me because I like building a town core. That's the way I think mafia should be played and I get frustrated when there are a lot of scummy townies in the picture. So I think you did an amazing job at that. You did tend to be more of a follower but that is not as important to me, personally. You did your part by clearing yourself as town.

dicetosser: I think it was pretty hard for you to bounce back into the game after being away for a while. The only reason I chose you as seer cover was because of how aggressive you got when someone said you were slacking off. I just didn't think you'd ever say something like that to cover your ass as scum. I was relieved, however, when you got peeked because it was nice to get verification of that. I think we were lucky that the random N0 peek landed there, otherwise I'm pretty sure scum would have been able to push a lynch on you, because you didn't seem to be able to really get into the game, if you catch my drift.

Leelou: I started off feeling a bit weird about you but I came around pretty quickly imo. You played well. Good reads. Smart peeking on Cory. I'm not sure if I would have done it myself, cause Cory tends to die so early that I prolly wouldn't want to risk peeking someone that might be NKed. But it turned out really well and Cory being peeked as town was important for the game's progression. So Kudos!

Darthe: Why can't you play all your town games like this? Had you as town since early on and it was pretty great. Also you didn't make me want to hang myself, so that's always a plus.

Verb: I pulverized you :D hahahahaha

Cory: Great game as always. You're the main reason I went with Wombat on D2. The way you and Wombat head butted made me think it's a w/v situation and what I think ultimately got Wombat lynched was the mini thunderdome that was going on there. You were also smoking out Cass and were part of the reason I threw her back into the POE. I'm glad I went with my gut feeling and didn't tinfoil on you. Cause it's always a tempting path to take. It's fun being town with you. And as always, you've read me to perfection. Also my derp about the no day talk in the scum QT was spot on. At first I had no idea what you meant... xD but yeah I'm not the type to make derps to make me look town. I'm just the kind that derps as town xD See reaction to mod trolling :P

Clovdyx: Not much to say really. I thought you were being weird the entire game, starting with not feeling town vibes from me on freaking page 5 of the game before the game even started. I like to screw around for a bit before it gets serious. Also your push at Halli and nitpicking stuff I said + the way you went at Kaylee just seemed odd. And the 'tude that you were giving me wasn't particularly helpful. I felt like we were talking a ton about how we'd wreck town together but you seemed kinda standoffish with me since the start and it made you constantly suspicious to me. So I think had AJ not been so set on lynching Cass first, I'm pretty sure I would have stayed on you. Plus your content yesterday was improving somewhat so I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt. But yeah, I totally thought you were more likely to be the last scum if it was between you and Cass. OH WELL!! :P At least I don't have to hear you whine about me mislynching you for a third time LOL

Yates: You suck. Also do more VCs in your next game cause.... DAMN.

Thanks Nyn. Working to show I'm town early and not follow as much. Part of it is playing catch up and not wanting to just repeat what's been said. I'll hopefully do better next game. Always trying to improve. Some people I have a hard time reading. This game I focused more on finding town that I could work with/listen to.

Cory-  don't think I'd ever trust you, even with a town peek and no GF role.

Ironic foreshadowing and also at the time totally broke my heart

I don't think you were the definite lynch before that personally.

I can read a vote count.  I was going the way of Sooh D1.

I was conflicted.  I thought he was either the seer or a VT trying to get reads.  So I played it cool at first hoping he'd move somewhere else on his own, but once it became clear that wasn't going to happen in time, I tried to force him to either claim if seer or back down if not.  It was probably something I would have done as town too, so I tried to play it like I would if I were about to get mislynched based on it.  I didn't have much hope, but I don't quit 'til I'm dead.

Also, Verb seemed mighty twitchy about me in the scum QT. That is nice.

You read me very well, and I wasn't able to coordinate during the day with my team....I wanted to NK you to silence you, but didn't bother suggesting it because obv the Seer came first.

Why wasn't I suspected as seer?  I had the same seer cover Lee had. ie dice and cory.

I read her like a book - I could tell she was not comfortable with cover and that she was feeling awkward with it.

Sorry hun. You're just one I can't figure out. Tbh I was leaning town on you by end of D1, just wasn't sure.

I wish I played better so that i never had any concerns about you. :(

My notes literally say "Kaylee is town and anyone who disagrees is bad".  Not sure why I ever changed from that.
