There is an awful lot of speculation going on regarding triggers, I'd rather more focus on gameplay than have the game revolving around the triggers.

I'm sorry. I like the mechanic. It's a nice flavor to the game. I know it has nothing to do with the role you got. I just like to know.

 

Plus, it's day 1. Not much is going to happen. And we have til Tuesday. What's wrong with talking about it?

I haven't quite made my mind up on people, but there are several interesting things pointed out already, about claiming and fake-claiming and such. Looking forward to getting more into it.

I did see how it could be used as fishing. If, for instance, only those that got triggers got roles, then the maf and vanilla would be in the ones that didn't.

 

But that's not the reason I want to know. Mainly because it probably doesn't correlate with the game. It's probably just harmless flavor, like character names.

Don't know how often I'll be able to check in today. Going to Renaissance festival then out to dinner. After that i have to drive the 2 hours back home.

Ok. I went back and checked. By the time Kaylee posted that all the triggers had been hit, Yates and Pral were the only ones that hadn't posted. i believe that their not posting was their trigger. I don't know what that entails for their alignment, but I do believe it was a trigger.

 

Also, Alanna was the last one to post. It was also her first post. There wasn't anything particularly interesting about her post, except for its timing. On that reason alone, I believe she is town.

 

Not that I'm not glad you think I'm town and all, but I don't follow your reasoning here. Why does the timing of my post mean I'm town? We hadn't received our alignments at that point.

didn't like eldriks entry to the game. comes in and votes a claimed mason? not seeing it. I think theres at least 1 mafia in these two.

Verb?  I don't know what you're talking about.

 

In what way is it defensive?  I made one comment and it set off the gigantic defensiveness that was yates/pral.

 

And two or three other people saw it the same way I did, are they scum too?

I'm not caught up enough yet to know what #420 is actually about, but tone and approach alone make me think !TownDice...

Well that's your opinion. i would like to hear others on the matter. There may be more to who got triggers and who didn't.
