What is new? Anything exciting going on? Any trips or plans for vacation anytime soon?

I surely need a vacation since working full time and school full time!

I'm new!

I don't know if I'm exciting... ask the others....

Vacation is lovely! I want one too!

My heating's still broken, so I'm spending the night at my parents :/ new parts on Monday

Posted

Oh that sucks... I mean.. staying with the parents can be fun, but when you have to....

Posted

What can I say, I'm shallow enough that the prospect of a shower is all I needed

Posted

Yup, I have one dog curled up with me, the other is feeling very sorry for themselves and sulking in the kitchen as she's having to wear a cone :(

Posted

Yeah... pets hate those... I remember that time my cat had to wear one... Talk about a Houdini... I had to put it back on so many times...

She's a 2 year old collie. This is Day 2 of 10 of not being allowed off the lead, I predict that she'll be crawling up the walls by Monday

Posted

Aww... poor pooch... I know it would drive me crazy to wear something like that too...

Posted

When I got my cat spayed she was mostly well behaved and didn't need a cone.  Though she kept jumping around which I was told she should be doing.  She didn't listen...

Posted

Ugh.. spaying the cat... she chewed off all her bandages multiple times... ended up having to wear them a week more than if she had NOT touched them... *eyes cat*

Had no problem with that. Got my female cat speyed last year. In overnight, op done, home again. No bandages, cones or anything required thankfully, only the check up a week later which went fine.

Lucky you could get to your parents' BFG. Definitely not the time of year to be without heating if you have the same gales and rain we've got this weekend.

No holidays planned, Cairos. We're barely past Christmas so it'll be June/July before that happens, at the earliest. How about you?

Not much planned this month but in April I have two trips planned and in May I'm hoping to make it down to Disneyland for their 60th anniversary to see the new fireworks, world of color light show and parade.

Posted

I've never been to Disneyland but been to disneyworld a ton of times when I was a kid. I would like to go. Vacation planned maybe in June or July for summer break. Maybe NYC or someplace close to California for a small vacation like Vegas!

Posted

I wanna go to a Disneyplace too... Which one is less important to me...

The one in Florida is bigger and has better places to see. They have the Harry Potter section in Florida. I think they are adding a few other places at the Florida one

Posted

Closest to me would be Paris, but yeah.. second closest is Florida... When I win the lottery I'll go

Posted

Paris, doesn't really work. It's not 'sunny' or 'cheesy' enough, or maybe I was the wrong age to visit. (Old enough to take myself seriously and not old enough tone silly, stupid teenage years...) Much preferred Florida, but I got a kiss there from King Louie, so ya know...

Anyone that heads down to Universal needs to stop by and pick me up on the way.  It's only about a 6 hour drive from my place.   I still haven't been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal and this needs to be rectified as soon as possible.

So, who has my winning lottery ticket?
