I think both Nol and Leelou/nyn are mafia. I have a slight tinfoil that only one is and in that case id say its leelou/nyn.

im gonna vote nolder because i do think he is mafia and if he flips town then he cements my certainty about leelou/nyn.

Also: Nolder wasn't posting. Nyn says something about his not posting (To him and me specifically.) He retorts with an 'oh sorry internet etc' and then jumped on me.

Two things.

1. I don't really like Cory setting up as town leader but it's usually inevitable that someone does. I feel like there's always one person being sensible while everyone else derps around so they're forced to try to lead the herd whether they want to or not. I'm going to cautiously accept it for now.

2. Hallia you're losing it. Need a post ASAP and not just a short oh sorry vote blahblah because I agree with blah. Give thoughtful detailed post that shows you're following along and have a real assessment of the game please.

It´s a strange Krak - Nolder - Verb triangle. Nolder didn´t like Verbs answer on Krak´s joke vote and then Verb joke voted Krak but kept his vote since he didn´t like how Krak followed up. I have two posts by Nolder that I will try to find because they looked weird.

What I meant was, are your reads on them independent of one another? Is it because their individual play is scummy or because of their interactions with each other?

considering i think they are both mafia im thinking it was a very early bus. Verbal would be a perfect person to sheep along behind, particularly for leelou and particularly early on when there is a good chance the lynch may not go thru. Could be a good way to get town cred. if there are only 2 mafia, that may be a good ploy really.

She put you as null because she's not paying attention and thought it would be easier to stay neutral on some people than to take a stand.

Especially since she's already getting called out.

Okay, had probably too much beer and I'm just addressing this before I forget:

For those that don't like my vote, go back and look at games where Verbal and I are in them. I guarantee you, you will see that we've done this before. One of us follows the other. In no way was I trying to start a wagon on Krak. Sorry, but I'm used to messing around and joking/playing for pages. Not being all super serious from post one. If you ever think you are going to get a serious Lauren post one, then you best hope hell has frozen over.

OMGUS has been used for a long time now to simply describe someone who voted someone who voted them.

It no longer describes a very specific situation in which someone voted someone else for voting them.

OMGUS used to be about someone baselessly crossing with someone out of spite because they were voted.

My vote wasn't baseless and wasn't spiteful. Like I said before I didn't even know Hallia was serious at first.

I didn't vote Hallia because she voted me. I made that very clear from the beginning and have taken the time to clarify that further even though I thought it was clear enough from the beginning. I'm not attacking her activity level really, although I admit that is cause for concern. She said work was taking up her time and that's fine. The activity was taken by work and that's not a problem. The problem I have, again, is the laziness in her play. She voted after she only read 7 pages, she quoted a post (that didn't have much content to begin with) and said "this", and she didn't talk about anyone else in the game. How are we supposed to judge Hallia? How are we supposed to judge anyone else in relation to her? We don't know what she thinks about the game, what she thinks about the people in the game, nothing. We just know that she "got a bad feeling" from a couple posts I made at the start of the game. It's lazy play that to me reads as busy scum who saw her name called out and had to blurt out a post to give at least the appearance that she was going to keep up. You can agree or disagree with that assessment however you like but the one thing it wasn't was OMGUS.

Ok so it wasn't OMGUS, it certainly appeared that way though. It was still incredibly opportunistic however, and Dice has voiced my other thoughts on it alread re: you encouraging inactivity

Yes, this. With the amount of activity and information going around this game you could easily have long ago either changed it to a serious vote or removed it.

The Librarian swung his way through the shelves, Rincewind had been missing for a while now, and although he was a coward, he had proven useful in the important things in life; gathering nuts, bananas that sort of thing. Even better, he had a genuine and healthy respect for the books, which made the continued absence of 'Magik Cyrcles and Wherefore To Fynd Theme' even more worrying. That's because my joke vote has turned serious. I told Barm that yesterday. Don't know why that is so hard to understand. Only other person I'd hands down vote right now is Nolder. And tbh, it really wouldn't matter who he was voting. He could have voted anyone after anyone in his first post if he posted like the way he did, I'd still be suspecting him like I am now. The only thing that I'm not liking about Hallia was how she threw in that she was voting Nolder for the Wednesday thing. Made it look a bit more opportunistic.

Here is a couple of reasons why I find Krak scummy, separate of the "catch" on Verbal.

IMHO I think Krak did actually nail Verb out the gate.
I feel bad gunning for him in the first game he's played in months but that's how it goes I guess.

I pretty much dislike each and every line of that post.

First line is lost on me unless he clarifies what he means. Verbal quoted the exchange and I'm rather underwhelmed.
The sympathy for gunning Verb right after his hiatus is funny. And he doesn't really seem broken up about it.... so kind of a head scratcher why he even brought it up.
And the having no reads on anyone else is kind of a given considering we're like... 5 pages into the game. I can't even tell if Krak was actually serious in his posts.

All in all.... eh.

I would like to hear some thoughts on this post.

The building wagon on us...

Nyn responds to BFG - Hi.

Cory posts a poem and then in his next post, he votes us with no explanation.

Barm votes us 20 minutes later with the explanation "Leelou's fast bandwagon onto Krak could be an early attempt to try and get a train going before there is any real information available, since at that point basically all posts were spam posts." (At this point Krak was already looking bad to us for his continuation of his push on Verb and trying so hard to prove his "catch" so we saw no point to move our vote at this time.)

Krak continues to push BUT hasn't voted yet. He doesn't vote until he's gotten a few more people to look our way and has pushed us to the halfway point. Up til then he was voting Nolder, which really didn't make much sense that he didn't unvote right after Nol's post, considering Nolder "saw what he saw" about Verbal and he got that instantly from Nol's cryptic post. Here he finally unvotes Nolder, and about 10 minutes later Nol comes in and starts to explain his vote.

Krak finally votes us, but it takes awhile from his initial push on us.

I didn't call it scummy really, although I guess I implied it, I said I didn't like his reactions.

And tbh I'm way over it now. Verbal is back to neutral territory as the game went on it was really just a starting place.

First of all I'm not going to count but up to that point I had probably 10-15 posts.

In comparison when I first called you out (and I wasn't the first to do so) you had 1 post.

I went silent for all of 9 hours. Internet went out at 4:30 AM came back 1:30 PM.

I know because I'm an internet addict and I was bored out of my damn mind checking every 10 minutes to see if it was back yet.

In comparison your first post was on page 4 October 6th at 5:41 PM. Your next post was page 12 October 8th 6:38 AM.

I also didn't jump on you I asked quite nicely. I said please and everything.

So don't even try to paint me as the low level activity hypocrite or something.
