It's a claim of bodyguard. Like wtf m8. It's a pretty crappy role. We know you have two roles so you didn't even reveal the other one. Thanks for answering one of my questions. Is it something that the majority can agree with? Because if so, I don´t understand why there aren´t more people voting Tommy. Can you give me a quick version of your reads?

I don't like this-feels scummy. Wants to vote Tommy just based on the comics. Do you have any other reason for wanting to vote Tommy other than him claiming to be one of the twins? How do you know the twins are third-party? They are against the avengers in the comics initially but later they change? What are your reads?

 

No, I wanted to know if the twins are evil or not. If they are, then I don´t see why Tommy hasn´t more votes. 

 

I don´t know they are third-party and I haven´t said so either. Someone else thought it was a possibility.

I don´t have many reads. I asked people to post a short post with who they suspect and why but few did. So far I have Tommy as mafia and Dice and Arsis as town. Reason for voting Tommy is still how he acted with the claims and I haven´t seen anything really townie about hims since.

a bit of train analysis here based on my reads.  Dawn looks overly cautious in this game which is problematic because that's her scum MO and yet that conflicts with my neg read on Red who has been sitting on Dawn for a bit.  Regardless I find both of them suspect, I just don't think that they're likely wolves together.

 

BH is on Dice which I think is also a town/scum scenario, probably where Dice is the townie.  I don't see reasons to vote him and yet I've noticed people like Tommy (who btw, nobody in this game should be following) pushing him.  

 

My train is frankly awful..  Most of the people voting me have been at one another at some point in this thread and don't have much consensus past "let's suddenly go here cause Darthe looks quiet".  I don't see substantial reasoning for me to be a train at all, much less the lead train, leading me to think that it is pretty heavily scum motivated with a couple of derpy/skimming town sort of going with the flow of the day.  I don't particularly care to fight it in lieu of how ungodly long the dawn phase was and how much affect it seems to be having on the way things play out so... sorry?  Ain't got time or interest in anything like that.  On that train I feel positive to negative about people in this order: NB, Vos, Nol, Dawn, Tommy

 

Tommy train on the other hand looks solid.  I have a firm town read on Rand and Dice and I have no clue about Tina who tends to be pretty objective as scum.  She could be sneaking in a bus vote if Tommy is scum (mainly me acknowledging her ability to blend rather than postulating about her alignment) or could have had substantial reasons for the vote that I didn't read.  

 

I don't get the Tsuki train so much anymore but I like who is on it.  I sense that it doesn't have the force needed for those people to stay much longer in the day, especially with Tsuki being such a light presence in this thread since he began getting attention.  

 

Red train R god tier train.  Hally looks more earnest than her scum game.  X always wears his alignment on his sleeves and is town here.

 

Don't care about the others save that they shouldn't still be around and are good places to hide this late in day.  Watch for a CFD from those slots onto a late train should it happen to be a townie that dies or some scum who gets obviously outted.

 

I don't think I've played with Dawn before, but to me being cautious is a good thing. Right at the moment people who feel confident  approching and reading others are scum due to beforehand knowledge.

 

I still don't see how you read Dice as town particularly after his reasoning.

 

I agree that your train is popping up suddenly looks weird. One moment nothing and the next a lot of people on it. Same with Tsuki's train-people just seemed to jump on. All started with the popcorning thing that didn't look big to me.

 

Tommy's train as well looks weird to me because a lot of people have bogus reasoning for voting him-just that he claimed Galactus or now one of the twins

 

 

Dice is town in this game.  If he were scum he wouldn't toss out any opinion that didn't fit the status quo generally.  I think BH looks odd, he tends to try and figure out what is going on in the fringes of games as town and here he is actively attempting to influence main issues without fully involving himself.

Darthe never explained or responded to how scummy of a move that was, and instead pulled his patented "Oh I don't care about the game blahblah everyone's dumb" and then claimed his role in a somewhat suspicious manner (as in, made it seem like he was just a normal BG, nothing special, no character claim even tho that wouldn't have sold me, it still looked weird without it)

 

Ftr, I was considering moving my vote to Red (since TG isn't taking off atm), until I saw another post of hers while catching up as well as the fact that Darthe approves of the train on her.

I don't see how that looks like a misrep Des. Vos said that he had been caught when  someone said that he made a Freudian slip. How is that a normal way to respond? To me that looks like joking and at the same time trying to push away the weight/significance of it. How did Darthe misrep that?

 

Charcter claims, IMO in a game based on a source as large as this are fairly useless because with so many characters anyone can claim one. Darthe could have just a normal BG. Not every role  needs to be special. So I don't see how you find it suspicious. You say that a character claim wouldn't have made you a believer but you still find him suspicious for not giving one? I don't like it.  

 

For my letters, yeah there is a reason. Red pointed out to me that I had to pull out qoutes to make it easier on others. I was trying to pull out a quote-one of mine itself but instead just putting out something already present,  I typed in letters. But the quote attempt didn't work-so the letters just appeared by themselves. 

 

 

As someone else said - Dice´s posts are more well thought/formulated when mafia.

Tony Stark poured himself another glass of scotch.  His eyes were starting to blur.  He just couldn't get his head around what happened at Lanthirrhos.  All that death and destruction.  He blamed himself.  No matter what Rhodey or anyone said, the blood was on his hands.

 

"Sir," chimed in JARVIS, "Pepper is here."  That was a bit unusual.  JARVIS only recently started calling her "Pepper" instead of "Miss Potts" or even "MRS Stark" - apparently, Tony was not the only one adapting to the new setup at STARK Tower.

 

The door whooshed open and in walked a frazzled looking Pepper Potts.  "Tony," she sighed, "this whole Ultron mess is out of control."

 

"Yeah?" growled Tony, "and I expect you think it's my fault, now huh? And I've gotta clean it up for you, right?"

 

"Tony," gasped Pepper.  She noticed the near empty bottle of scotch on the table and then the redness in Tony's eyes.  "You're drunk."

 

 

"Ya don't say!" hissed Tony, "a hundred men and women died, a whole military arsenal destroyed, and humankind is on the brink of destruction  And everyone is pointing the finger at ME.  And they're......they're right."  Tony grabbed the bottle.  "Its my fault, I caused this.....So I thought I'd drink a little." 

 

Pepper folded her arms beneath her breasts, scowling at Tony.  "You're better than this.  You are already throwing in the towel.  I can't believe what a coward you are acting li-"

 

SMASH!!  Tony threw the bottle of scotch nearly hitting Pepper in the head.  Tony staggered as he yelled, "I CAN'T BEAT IT!  YOU SEE? ITS PART OF ME!!! Its as if it knows what I'm about to do and it beats me to it.  Blocks me!"  Tony knocked over a small box of tools.  The door wooshed open again, and Col. Rhodes ran to Pepper's side. 

 

"Tony, what are you doing, man?" shouted Rhodes.  "You need to sit down right now!"

 

"Oh great," sighed Tony, "Mr and Mrs calm and rational.  Here to judge me.  Oh, look at the drunk mess! I just wish dad was here to complete the trinity of disappointment!"

 

"Tony," sobbed Pepper, "Why?"  Rhodes stepped forward, furrowing his brow.

 

"You're acting like a damn punk," shouted Rhodes, "you had no way of knowing what would happen.  Get it together man, and we'll contain this thing!  You've got a genius that I couldn't possibly understand.  You'll figure it out!" 

 

"Bah!" growled Tony, staggering over to a nearby couch.  "I built an artificial intelligence to protect humanity.  And all it has done is destroy any part of humanity it can find.  Seems to be the STARK legacy.....build evil machines that kill people, even when trying not to.  When has a Stark built anything good?"

 

Rhodes was about to speak, but JARVIS interrupted, "Tony......" Rhodes and Pepper looked around, startled.  "Tony, you built me."

Everyone paused.  Pepper wiped a tear away from her cheek.  Rhodes sighed as Tony took that in for a moment. 

 

Then, Tony stood up and growled, "Great, my own security system is giving me therapy.  That's it, I quit.  Let someone else save the world this time, I'm done."

 

"So that's it?" shouted Col Rhodes, "you're just gonna throw in the towel?"

 

Pepper sighed, "Tony, you are breaking my heart.  I've never seen you just simply unplug from society like this....."

 

Tony perked up.  "Unplug........Pepper, you're a genius"  Tony raced over to the nearest console and began tapping away frantically.  "Ultron is an artificial intelligence, but he still just a machine.  And machine's need power.  And unless our digital friend has a source of unlimited energy...."

 

Rhodes interrupted "he's gonna need to juice back up somewhere." 

 

With that, Tony pulled up a map of Niagra Falls with a chart showing an abnormal amount of energy being produced by the falls.  "Unless it's honeymoon season, wanna bet whats causing that anomaly?"

 

"Ultron!" shouted Pepper and Rhodes at the same time. 

 

"Suit up," ordered Tony, "We're going on a honeymoon!"

 

"uh, Tony," asked Rhodes, "I hope you were talking to Pepper......Tony?"

basically my thoughts. Darthe's quote-chopping, bad reaction to votes, defence of dice... Not liking it one bit.
