[Advanced] Blackhoof's Cthulhu Mythos Mafia Game- Day 1

@Red: GFY. You had absolutely zero to do with winning the game for your team. I didn't suspect Wombat or Tommy because of anything you did, Tommy was legit scummy, and Wombat I kept waffling on even after Mynd's absolutely wtfawful "dream" that basically implicated him. But Wombat brought some of that on too imo, he did seem to be sniping during the town on town violence D1 and his reads did not align with other townies whatsoever.

 

In general, any scummers trying to take credit for the win are well, I dunno still good people I guess, just incredibly mistaken. This game had some of the most self I destructive town play I've ever seen. Tommy and Cory having their spat early on was a horrendous start, but we could have recovered.... had it not been for Mynd's gambit. Oh well.

 

 

 

@everyone else: wish my last mafia game had gone better than this one, but eh dem's da breaks. I have decided to go ahead and quit while I'm behind however, which I'm sure many will be grateful to hear. Sorry for all the heartache and headaches I've caused, and I hope y'all have better games and better environments without me. Toodles.

oy, where did i take credit for any of the win my team pulled out. i believe i gave credit to yourself, Darthe, Mynd, Nyn, Len and Dawn.

 

town may have played a scummy game, but my team had the good sense and play enough to capitalize off of it.

 

and no Despo, you mentioned too many times "Womby is team mates with Red, look at that distance" and "Tommy is team mates with Red, look at that diffence and distance" that my being scummy was a corner stone in your case against them. i was simply pointing out that it was by design, my design, that you came to that conclusion man.

 

you kept saying "be more obvious team mates" to me, Womby and Tommy; and you came to that conclusion on thread because i set it up like that. its not a "brillant move to out scum" if the scum is trying to lead you to make that conclusion.

No, no, and no. Most of what you pointed out that I said is just my usual posturing. I will day that in Tommy's case I WAD convinced you were teammates, because you WERE obviously scum yet Tommy kept town reading you. I figured even if he was town he would have been able to see through your posts, so when he didn't I assumed you were teammates. You didn't manipulate or coerce me into suspecting him, he did that on his own.

 

And in Wombat's case, I thought y'all might be teammates at times, but I also often postulated that you might be playing him for the fool or him playing you. Again, you never led me to thinking anything, and without the intention of disrespecting you, I really was ignoring your posts for a LARGE chunk of the game. I would NOT have pushed @ Wombat at all this game most likely if it wasn't for Mynd's "dream"

 

Just saying, I think in this case you're trying to take credit for a situation that you had nothing to do with- heck, you played your part, convincing town to lynch Mynd even tho you were basically lolcatting as scum the last few day phases. But it didn't take much after Mynd set himself up for the lynch.

Not that I am in any position to talk, but I didn't really see anything wrong with Despo's gameplay.  He pinged scummy to me, but so did a lot of people. 

 

And now to be completely honest, Cory and Tommy hired me to epically bellyflop as a player to make their earlier ugliness look reasonable.  Yeah, THAT's it!

Hoof I am TRULY SORRY I derailed your game and modkilled myself. You deserve a more patient and reasonable player in your slot. As someone who has had players throw themselves off the railing as a moderator, I understand how frustrating it is.

My bad. I am glad the game recovered after my MK.

If it's any consolation I never thought you were.  I saw how your play oscillated between "total newb" and "picking up on things" in the Physics Mafia game I modded so I expect good things from you.
