How can I get levels if I'm not even a civilian? And how do the level people know that you actually gave me these points? I on't know anything about this stuff.

People get automatically 10 points upon joining, and I've seen Tina etc. report them in the points earned thread as something like "10 points to ExamplePerson for joining". Then the person updating the points page next knows to add the new guy. I don't remember seeing Jak there last I updated points... But I'm not sure when that was, the last week is a bit of a blur. Too many bad brain days for my liking.
