Sad news kinda....

 

Myndjack was taken off life support today.  It was the humane thing to do.  It may have been the end of an era (or at least a moment) but I think those of us who played there know that it had become a ghost town.   I tried to run a game there recently, but the only ones who signed up were three spam bots selling viagra, someone named "princess gagme" who apparently had a fondness for sausages, and I think a tumbleweed actually signed up.  I made him the Mafia GF, naturally. 

 

So yah......MyndJack is no more.  But it's spirit will live on in the hearts and Mynds that carry on. 

 

Seriously though, we had some great times there, eh?   I don't think we ever finished Lanth's EPIC Star Wars game. 

 

After June 13th, my availability will go from barely around to relentlessly present.  I'd like to MOD a few games and Verby has graciously placed me back in the MOD queue.  I also have one fiendish game cooked up for the stabbies in SG. 

 

Here are the games I have (most of them already fleshed out and ready to go)

 

Avengers 2: Age of Ultron (Sequel to the epic Avengers game on MJ)

 

Agents of SHIELD (HYDRAS?!?!?!)

 

Heroes Reborn (formally called, Heroes - the Apology - takes place right at the end of Season 1 but with characters from all seasons, as if seasons 2,3 and 4 never happened.)

 

and a special one I am calling MYNDTRAP.  This one would be for VET players only.  It is devious and dasterdly and even bastardly!

 

So yeah....um...no more myndjack but Mynd is still here.  Sort of.

you planning the Heroes one to run aroudn the time the reboot starts up on cable?

 

 

edit - i have to admit, i lmaod at the Shield one *grins*

 

 

Mynd, I'm def in for each and every one of those games.  But we need to make sure we get Lanth in for the Heroes game - I still owe him for taking me down at endgame when I was so damn close to dragging the town to victory as a supercharged Peter Petrelli.  I yelled at my monitor when I realized he was recruited to mafia and that it was too late.  Dammit!

 

we'll need to drag Kiv back in for it as well  :laugh:

Well, since you're doing more Marvel games, I call dibs on Malekith. Could have waited to Netflix Thor 2 if not for Nine.

 

The problem is that Verbal has dibs on all the X-Men stuff after his awesome X-men game on MJ.  I, on the other hand, have dibs on Avengers and its branches (Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, etc).  This will make it kinda tough because if I have Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in my game, I cannot call them mutants or mention Magneto.  Verbal, however, cannot mention Avengers in his X-men game but he can also have Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, but he has to use the guy from American Horror Story instead of the Kick A$$ dude for Quicksilver.  He gets Apocalypse, I get Thanos.  I'm not sure who gets the Fantastic Four because who gives a crap?

Yes....and Natalie Portman too.  A while back I had this idea for six Avengers games, each dealing with one aspect of the infinity gauntlet.....

That is sad Mynd. Those were some good times. I would sometimes wander into those boards to reminisce but they did seem rather empty

My top 3 movies ever?  Emporer's New Groove, Lucky #Slevin, and O Brother Where Art Thou

 

with a smattering of Hackers, In Bruges, Boondock Saints, Rounders, Enter the Dragon, The Jungle Book, and a few others

 

a number of agreement points for me. Shawshank, Rounders i really liked  hackers too and Jungle Book is AWESOME!
