Do we really have to do hydras? It doesn't fit the theme at all outside like 5 characters maybe, only 2 of which are present during the Red Wedding.

Theme?  A Hydra is two people playing under one account/life etc with one vote.  It is just for two people who maybe don't have the time to play on their own or people who really work well together so that I don't have to add slots to include people.

Well since my shape still isn't completly up to par, I'd prefer to hydra so as not to be a complete liability to my team.

Actually it is proven to not affect balance.  You can check for yourself on MS where they originated.  Two voices are equally likely to be wrong than right and roughly 1/4 of the time they will be mafia instead of town.  Of course the additional perspectives create more tension but what does that bring to the game that wouldn't have been there simply by the nature of the game?  Nothing, assuming that everyone plays to their best capabilities.

 

BS.  Has someone done a controlled, randomized, statistical experiment with hydras on MS?  Hydras are OP.

Ive been trying to think of how I could play in one I created for forever. If I could find something online that auto-distributed roles I could make it work.
