I don't know you, master Matrim, but welcome back anyway! ^_^ And let me just say, it never gets less weird to see people talking about summer holidays in December. x)

You live in India. Don't try to tell me it often gets as cold there as it's in the Netherlands in winter.

And it doesn't get as cold in England as it does in Finland but I'd rather winter in Finland because there we at least have things like proper insulation and heating. x) Can't say I know what the case is in either Netherlands or India, but the colder the climate, the better we tend to be prepared for, well, cold. (Yes this has been your daily dose of Captain Obvious. I'll go back to my corner now.)

Thanks Nikon!

This sums it up, lol...

I had my exams earlier than usual this year and so I went back home and biked across the south island from where I live to the city I did the exams in...

The bike trip took 3 days and totalled to about 250km, never biking so far in NZ again, I don't mind the roads, traffic or scenery no... its the mountains, they murder...

After that I met up with my brother doing his last exam and we spent the next 8 days paddling the sounds in this:

So pretty much fun and fishing

What temperatures do you consider cold?

(in Celsius of course)

anything less than 20 is cool, less than 15 is cold, less than 10 is I-don't-want-to-leave-my-warm-blankets and less than 5 is please-holidays-do-extend

Here it only gets cold below 5... Two winters ago the temperature didn't get below -5 or -10 for about two weeks in a row.

They said there'll be snow at Christmas

They said there'll be peace on Earth

But instead, it just kept on raining

A veil of tears for the Virgin birth

I remember one Christmas morning

A winter's light and a distant choir

And the peal of a bell

And that Christmas tree smell

And their eyes full of tinsel and fire

They sold me a dream of Christmas

They sold me a Silent Night

And they told me a fairy story

Til I believed in the Israelite

And I believed in Father Christmas

And I looked to the sky with excited eyes

Then I woke with a yawn

In the first light of dawn

And I saw him and through his disguise

I wish you a hopeful Christmas

I wish you a brave New Year

All anguish pain and sadness

Leave your heart and let your road be clear

They said there'd be snow at Christmas

They said there'll be peace on Earth

Hallelujah, Noel, be it Heaven or Hell

The Christmas we get, we deserve

*Grabs, Ley, CS, Tina and cindy and does the Okey Cokey....*

Annnd....

Put your left arm in, your left arm out, in, out, in,out and shake it all about, you do the okey cokey and you turn about...

Ohhhh...the Okey Cokey, Oh the Okey Cokey, knees bent arms stretched...Ra ra ra

You put you right arm in.....

*does the non cockney (really hope that's how you spell that...) version of the hokey pokey and sings*

Here we come a-wassailing

Among the leaves so green,

Here we come a-wand'ring

So fair to be seen.

Love and joy come to you,

And to you your wassail, too,

And God bless you, and send you

A Happy New Year,

And God send you a Happy New Year.

We are not daily beggers

That beg from door to door,

But we are neighbors' children

Whom you have seen before

Love and joy come to you,

And to you your wassail, too,

And God bless you, and send you

A Happy New Year,

And God send you a Happy New Year.

Good master and good mistress,

As you sit beside the fire,

Pray think of us poor children

Who wander in the mire.

Love and joy come to you,

And to you your wassail, too,

And God bless you, and send you

A Happy New Year,

And God send you a Happy New Year.

We have a little purse

Made of ratching leather skin;

We want some of your small change

To line it well within.

Love and joy come to you,

And to you your wassail, too,

And God bless you, and send you

A Happy New Year,

And God send you a Happy New Year.

Bring us out a table

And spread it with a cloth;

Bring us out a cheese,

And of your Christmas loaf.

Love and joy come to you,

And to you your wassail, too,

And God bless you, and send you

A Happy New Year,

And God send you a Happy New Year.

God bless the master of this house,

Likewise the mistress too;

And all the little children

That round the table go.

Love and joy come to you,

And to you your wassail, too,

And God bless you, and send you

A Happy New Year,

And God send you a Happy New Year.
