[Basic] The Circle Mafia - Game over

It was a week before the Accords, the signing of the peace treaty between the Shadowhunters and Downworlders. It was signed anew every 15 years, to renew the magic. But if the Circle had it like they wanted, this year, the signing wouldn't happen... They were meeting an hours ride away from Idris, in a remote forest. Valentine stood before them, hands clasped behind his back, the small fire reflecting in his eyes, almost making him look like a demon. The last Shadowhunter arrived, and Valentine started speaking. "We have a great opportunity. The Downworlders that is chosen to sign the Accords, arrived in Idris today. We have the opportunity to kill them all off before the signing. I have bound a demon to me, forcing him to help us. He will make us all look like Downworlders. We will infiltrate them, and kill them one by one when we have the opportunity. If we manage to kill them all, the signing cannot happen, and the Accords will fail. And then, it is time for us to step up as leaders of the Shadowhunters, and shape the world as we want it. No Shadowhunter will ever again have to bow to the whims of the Downworlders ever again". The gathered Shadowhunters let out a yell of support. "Not all of us can do this. I have chosen three of you, to do this. I cannot do it myself, I can't disappear for days without rousing suspicion. Know that the strength of all of us stand behind you. Go, and cleanse Idris of this filth once and for all"

At a mansion right outside of Idris' borders, the chosen Downworlders were gathered. They had chosen to come a week early, to look over the points that were to be added to the Accords. All thirteen of them were gathered in the mansions library, when suddenly a hooded figure appeared. "Shadowhunter? What can we do for you?" A warlock asked. "I cannot linger. Be aware that amongst your numbers, there are shadowhunters hidden to appear as you. They are here to do you harm. I'm sorry I cannot do more". The figure turned around and ran, while the room erupted in confused cries and angry voices.

 

This is an open set-up, here's the possible set-ups:

 

 

2 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 1 Sane Cop, 1 Sane Doctor, 7 Townies, 1 Survivor

2 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 9 Townies, 1 Survivor

3 Mafia Goons, 1 Sane Cop, 8 Townies, 1 Survivor

3 Mafia Goons, 1 Sane Doctor, 8 Townies, 1 Survivor

3 mafia Goons, 1 Sane cop, 1 Sane Doc, 7 townies, 1 Survivor

2 mafia goon, 1 mafia roleblocker, 1 sane cop or doc, 8 townies, 1 Survivor

 

 

 

The rules!

 

1. This is a hammer game. If a majority is not reached by the deadline, I will randomly kill 1 player and no coroner will be provided.

 

2. Votes must be bolded, and you must unvote before placing a new vote. It is not allowed to self-vote or vote for no lynch.

 

3. Days will be approx. 72 hours, night 24 hours.

 

4. Characterclaiming is not allowed, not even hinting. Breaking this will have dire consequenses for the rest of your team. There are no named characters from the books, only Shadowhunters and Downworlders.

 

5. Editing of posts is not allowed. It is not allowed to talk about the game outside of the thread, PMs with me, or your QT.

 

6. I expect at minimum 1 post per RL day, or 3 per game day. I will modkill those who cannot follow this. If you become unable to play for a few days, please let me know as soon as possible.

 

7. One "bah!" post is allowed after you are dead, this should contain absolutley no game info. It should be "bah, I'm dead, go team!", and, if you feel like it, a gif you feel is fitting. Brownie points for best gifs.

 

8. Feel free to chat with me about the game in your PM's, but I will PAFO if you try to dig out game info. For the newbies, you can always ask me questions about general game mechanics.

 

9. I am the modess, wich means game godess. My word is law. I expect everyone to play nice, and I will give you a private warning if I feel like anyone is overstepping the boundries of what I feel is fair play. Also, there is absolutley no point in trying to game the mod ;)

 

10. Do note quote, screenshot or in any other way directly share communications I have had with you. Paraphrasing is ok.

 

11. Further rules may be added if I realize I've forgot something An announcement will be made in that case.

There are no spoilers from the original story, I've modified things to fit me, I've made up a scenario that fits with the pre-story of the books, but things did not happen like this. Also, there are no named characters, so no use in trying to break the game with that.
