Dear Santa...

What's on your Christmas list this year?

I am honestly having trouble coming up with things to buy my friends and family this year. It would be lovely and convenient if they all gave me a Christmas list, but we all hate buying off lists, so it's not likely to happen XD

Anyway, what's on your Christmas list? And what are you getting for your family?

And that universal remote that is the tenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver is just awesome...

My list is pitiful - because I never get anything, since I am seriously poor right now, I just ask my family to get stuff for my kids so they get a Christmas. So for me that makes my Christmas! I love my family

I love giving gifts - which makes being poor harder because I love to give stuff to everyone - figuring out stuff people would love is such a blast for me. I had a few friends that I would show up and drop stuff off for santa when they had hard times, I always like to donate toys too. But this year, I will be making ornaments for family and friends again. These are the ones I'm making this year.

Those are beautiful, Aida! And I love that you think of your kid's Christmas so much. It was always my favourite day when I was little because my whole family always came over at the same time and usually stayed for a couple of days, and there was always a mountain of presents which were always really thoughtful. I've always loved that about my family, we're all so obsessed with getting the right present for each other, and absolutely spoiling each other rotten on Christmas. There's just so much thought and love that goes into it, it makes everything just beautiful.

My brother and sister-in-law made reindeer out of flannels and soap last year, they were amaaaaaaaazing!! It was so amazing! They were going through hard times financially then, so they made beautiful things for us instead and it was brilliant.

As opposed to one of my other brothers a couple of years ago, who somehow wrapped up various food items from our pantry and put them under the tree, so we all got a bag of pasta or a can of beans or something XD And then he took them all back and claimed them for his own at the end of the day. XD

It sounds like you love Christmas as much as I do - we are already decorating and listening to music too. My mom and I go crazy together watching silly christmas romance movies

I really love spoiling people during the holidays too - someday I will afford to again *sighs* but I'm lucky my family really makes it great for my girls.

That wrapping stuff like your brother did made me laugh! My brother always does crazy stuff - last year he got my a gift card for books - which is usually what everyone gets me because they know I live in books  and he wrapped it in like 6 different big boxes. It took me like an hour to unwrap!

I don't know what I will get for Christmas....but I want to upgrade my weights (the max I have right now is ten pounds and I'm ready for some 12 and 15 pound weights!)

Other than that...we'll see how the holiday season goes. I love the atmosphere of the holidays, both sides of my family are really hard to be around for long periods of time (my hubbies family is awesome though)....my family just gets involved in way too much drama :(

I'm actually at a loss what to do about pressies this year..... usually, my parents and bro's all sat down and made cards and crafty things for our family in Germany each year, but now I'm here on the other end... XD I don't think I can get my immediate family anything, sending packages costs a loooooot. But I'll make it up to them soon ;)

For my grandparents.... cards, and I'll try to think of some quirky nice things to say ILY GRANDPARENTS. Hehe, my Opa loves geleebananen (no idea what they are in English), but Oma won't usually let him have many sweets, and I saw some on the Christmas market so I'm gonna get him a bag XD

Apart from that... I have the unfortunate luck to be born into a family where NO ONE EVER SAYS WHAT THEY WANT. "Naaah, you don't have to get us anything" isn't very helpful :P

But while I'm still trying to come up with things for them, I'm already very into work and footy Secret Santa and my football team's Christmas party this weekend. I made cookies ( and they turned out alright!!!) complete with our colours' icing and the club logo painstakingly drawn onto M&Ms with white chocolate...

Also, we're getting our coach a present, namely a Beer Advent Calendar. Everyone's getting him a bottle of beer, nicely decorated, for each day until Christmas. This is awesome, and a veeeery german idea. XD

lol, my Nanna was like that.  My Grandad was diagnosed with diabetes, so Nanna literally threw out everything that had sugar in, when she bought stuff from the supermarket she'd check all the label information.  But she'd allow him one sweet a day.  It worked, within a year he was 'cured' of diabetes.

My grandma has to do similar stuff for my grandpa. XD

And I couldn't help but come in here and yell

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS MY TWO FRONT TEETH

...my two front teeth *whistle*, my two front teeth *whistle*

This year Mum had one of her brilliant ideas and we wound up spending a whole week making personalised calenders for 2014 for all the relatives she could think of...

I don't really need/want anything for christmas... somehow I managed to get all the stuff shortly befor including a polar sleepingbag, an inflatable kayak and a new-ish laptop

Reading her post above I don't think I'll be getting Nya anything however  Nothing comes from nothing or so they say! :baalzamon: lol just kidding sis! *noogies*
