why?

 

 

You giving us the innocent you viewed last night let's us analyze who's been buddying them/trying to get them lynched.The word of the player can therefore be trusted and you can be more certain that the casing that they've done isn't twisted.  Not only does it give us more room to analyze, but it gives town a more focused group of people to look at for scum by confirming an innocent. What do you do when a player gets lynched and their alignment shows? You go back with new perspective and light is shed on things you didn't see before. What happens when a player is viewed? Same thing.

 

We're 8 to 1 right now and the only mafia that got died got NK'd by his own team. This means they hold a high proportion of votes which means that having any innocent confirmed, narrowing down possibilities, is vastly more helpful. You keeping this from us does what? It makes our casing less effective and increases our chance of missing scum today. Bottom line. 

 

Are you worried that the scum are going to kill the innocent that you will reveal? Well, what difference does it make if you don't tell us who he is? Dap died and you said "Oh yeah, I viewed him. Sorry I didn't tell you earlier.", explain how that was more effective than you telling us that when you revealed? You saving this for end-game when we're getting pooped is. not. helping.

to answer this, if lets just say, the doc protects me, and the mafia know this, who are they most likely to NK, the confirmed townies, which pretty makes my view useless, i mean you give an example of dap, if i did say that i viewed him, that would have just painted a big target on his back, instead of being NK'd right away, he made it through and the only reason mafia NK'd him was cuz they saw him as a threat to their team instead of being confirmed.

 

where as if i say nothing, and lets just say i get another 2 innocents, what does that do, it dramatically reduces the pool in which scum hide, do you get why im "obtuse" and not giving my read now?

Was going to do a thorough reread and casing wot type thing tonight since I'm back at work, but seeing the other two threads already being concluded in what is almost assuredly town losses, I just don't see much point in doing that with this one. We had the biggest margin already looking at us with onle 1 mafia killed from NK. This one's ending in a town loss too. Not even close to a consensus on the scummiest player right now, and activity in these three games has dropped off significantly. I say we just vote No Lynch and wrap it up.

 

Actually, meh. Might as well lynch someone I know to be town to ensure it ends quicker.

Yeah, I realized I shouldn't have phrased it that way after I posted. Either way, I don't know how you can expect me, in the guise of a town player, to have any hope of getting a point from this game at this point. I realize this stinks a bit as a mod, but can you also see it from a player's perspective? A hopeless situation isn't really the most motivational environment.

Oh no you misunderstand; I'm not giving up in this thread because of the loss of a chance of a personal win, that would be shallow and dickish.

 

What I'm saying is I don't think there's even a chance of getting a victory for my team in THIS thread. The other threads ended, with town losses, and because the games have similar if not exact same setups, and we have only one dead scum compared to multiple dead scum in the other threads, I can safely deduce that my team has 0% chance of winning this game.

 

Call it emo, call it unsportsmanlike, that's your prerogative. I call it choosing how to spend my time wisely.

If you don't want to get vig killed, try not saying such blatantly scummy things next time. The hammer was completely and unequivocably justified, regardless of how much of the thread I had read. Catching up on the first thread told me there was a metalynch going on, and Csarlami's claims in all three threads. What more was there to see?

 

And I never said anything about my gameplay this game btw, nice reading fail there. Funny thing is, even in my worst game I still contribute more to my team's chances at victory than you ever do.

On Cloud and Csarmi's lynches as a hammer, and committed to the Peace lynch early when it was fairly obvious he was toast and could get away with it. Hit interactions have been rather minute, most of which have been posts about someone else's posts being BS and why they shouldn't be agreed with without doing legit casing of his own. Most of what he says goes relatively unnoticed because most of it isn't exactly relevant to the primary lynch on that day, and is instead more focused on the smaller issues which is how he gets away with looking town without proper town contribution.
