Personally, I'm gonna Vote Krak

 

He was the first person to bring up a Lie Detector possibility, and yet as far as I remember, he didn't join in when (mostly) everyone stated they were town. To me, it smells of mafia knowing there's an LD, probably because they have a silver tongue. He was pushing hard on me, probably hoping to distract the LD to check me and thus give the mafia another free night. Even bringing it up again today, completly uneccessary. I see no reason why he should bring it up again today. I stated quite clearly last day that I'm town. So why keep bringing it up? Maybe he was hopnig the LD would speak up and say they'd checked me, so the mafia knew who the LD was.

I'm actually not really sure what you're saying here. It just seems like a crappy move to be the first to mention a LD when the only ones who would know of one are the mafia team (if ST) and the LD him/herself. Why would scum point themselves out like that? Mish, your whole post was a little farfetched for me.

From the discussion yesterday about the "needing names" game theory to the discussion of theories of relativity, Wombat you sure have created enough chaos for scum to hide behind. I agree with NotBob, that's probably a debate that should be held somewhere else instead of here in font of his simpleton. In other words...get a room ;)

 

 

Thorum wasn't that scummy D1. Just because someone disagrees with the crappy norms the community has set up doesn't mean he's scum.

I disagree, I even said myself that I kind of thought Thorum was likely town because I thought no scummer would actually act that overtly scummy. And certain community norms were developed for a reason, because it became very clear after a certain amount of time that certain behaviors were just inherently scummy, or at the very least anti-town. Certain.

 

And I don't think he's made sense all game, and have pointed that out multiple times.

So why not vote him...if he's not making sense then he can't be helpin town right? You speak of not wanting to derail the game and yet STILL debate this Einstein crap with Wombat.

What an incredibly scummy post. First of all, you overuse the whole "You create enough chaos/smoke for others to hide behind" thing. Second, did you even READ any of my other posts on Thorum, or did you merely try to take one out of context to try and namake me look scummy? Oh right, the latter.

 

I said multiple times that I have a deep town read on Thorum. Wombat said that now he was starting to make no sense, and I gave an example of how he hasn't made sense all game. Do I consider Thorum's pea-brained reasoning to be anti-town? Of course. That doesn't mean I wouldn't rather lynch scum today.

 

I wish more had responded to my points on Darthe, but for now I'd like to get an actual train going. Vam won't offer much either way methinks, hell just come in and whine about being voted for inactivity. I think we should pressure Tigraine to illustrate the new commitment to discouraging crappy lurky behavior.

As much as I haven't agreed with Tigs for a lot of this game, I also felt the physics and occams razor talk was distracting. Take it to your QT if it's all that important. Des's whole post here was just frustrating.

Agreed that a lot of people have mentioned a willingness to vote Vambram today though. I disagree with Des that it wouldn't bring info. Any lynch is an info lynch if you're paying attention. Also, what's the difference between Tigs lurking and Vambram lurking? I feel like we're getting a lot more from Tigs lately anyways. If you want to discourage lurking, then an actual lurker would be a better option for a lynch if all you want to do is prove a point.

Let's see what I've missed.  

 

Wombat sows confusion by bringing up hexes.  Then does a chainsaw defense of Razen, which makes him having defended Not Bob, Thorum, and Razen so far.  The talks about a back-up SK while trying to convince absolutely no-one that it doesn't exist.  Obviously trying to look town.  Wombat then refuses to unvote Thorum even with vig claim.  However, to his credit he then gives a decent amount of back-up evidence for his reasoning.  Wombat also goes back and forth about science and physics with Despo and derails the discussion yet again.  Wombat then backs down from his debate with Despo to try and redirect toward lynching Vam.  Wombat then posts that "who cares, plenty of people post stuff that isn't related to the game" line.  Ouch.

 

Darthe is till pushing that Hally might not really be cop?  Seriously?  With no counter claim and no character counter claim?  

 

Peace is looking town based on the fact that he is looking for simple analysis of most plays, town or not town.  

 

Razen comes out of lurking to distance from Wombat about the backup SK, then votes Thorum because, let's be honest, Thorum deserved it with his mock outrage at losing a vanilla town.

 

Vambram doubles down on Darthe's idea that Hally really isn't the cop.  But then Darthe kinda refutes it to distance or look townie.

 

Alanna is looking more town with each post.

 

NotBob I'm not sure on.  Looking town at this point though.  And I agree about not posting during night phase.  I don't do it either.  I also like the fire of his recent posts.  Looks very annoyed townie.

 

Thorum comes in and claims vig and Lancelot.  Solid claim, very solid.  Especially with the SK gone it looks believeable.  

 

Despo still looks like scum hunting to me with bringing up reasonable points.  Posts how scummy Darthe and Wombat are and Wombat only responds with "ROFL" instead of any sort of real response.

 

Tigraine mentions the derailing of the discussion by bringing physics into it.  Town move.  However, completely wrong about lurking helping to win the game.  Despo is right that lurking might get you to end game but it isn't beneficial to town. I also don't think Tig sees the Womby/Despo discussion the same way I do and sees it more as a confused mess.  Makes me think she isn't trying that hard to understand it which fits with the "I'll lurk to make it to end-game" strategy.

Why is Wombat voting Thorum?  Because he is worried about being Vig killed.  There was been talk about Thorum vig killing Wombat and therefore Wombat is desperate to get rid of the vig before it can happen.  Of course, scum could block Thorum but then they would have to worry about Hallia getting a result.  

 

So, given that Wombat is scum team, which is the only way out of having to decide between blocking the cop or the vig (and potentially getting killed)?  Why, do your best to lynch the vig of course.
