Sorry, but even though I watch Game of Thrones, the name of the actors of the show don't stick in my memory.

I still got no idea who this guy is, with pictures and all that.

So.

Maybe the mods should track activity levels during their games, give activity points (on a scale of 0-10) when it's done. It could be kept in some database and checked when someone would join the game.

There could be limits set when game signups is posted.

We have pretty much the same people in every game, active or inactive. Banning them from your games means you have to run smaller and more basic games. I'm totally fine with that but for the most part all I see is people running 20+ Advanced games all the time..

and is plotting a nullification by jury vote ...

ah, nvm,do what you like.

make the atmosphere more hostile, make it more discouraging for new people to start playing... it's probably more the kind of thing most vet players would enjoy while it lasts.

carry on then.

I am now decider-in-chief for this merry little band. Any lynch I lead from this point forward is now by definition an irrestistable "policy lynch." I will not allow you to destroy my voting bloc before I've led at least 10 policy mislynches as mafia.

I've already mentally FoSed everyone endorsing policy lynches. if I ever play again, it will be the long term memory failure you can thank for living through day one, you naughty train nudger.

Inactives are more likely to be Town ... so good luck with that lol.

When I started playing Mafia there was only the requirement to post at least one game related post in a day phase. Now it's like some crazy gameshow where quantity seems to count more than quality. Not everyone has the time to post a bazillion times in a game - and the more you push this - 'we are going to lynch anyone who don't meet our perceived standards about what a game should be about' then the less people want to play.

Lynching inactives is a mafia ploy that will mean they dont have to case and they can't have their reasons examined for being on a Town Lynch. They can just pick off quiet Town and then win the game. I can't believe you are being fished in like this. Find the Mafia. Lynch the Mafia. It really isn't that difficult.

I won't be joining in this. And hey ... Mods do the best they can, thank you very much. They make all these wonderful games for you to play, and spend their time doing all the stuffs that must be done so that you can have a great game. They manage the inactives the best they can - so don't be bitching about the mods.

well ithi your sort of proving the point, as most of the inactives are town, they are more of a liability than any help, hence you lynch a few people as an example to stop the rest from following

It's a numbers game. You lose numbers ... you just lose.

Making this game rule and threat heavy isn't going to encourage anyone to join in and play. People have their own level of activity they can commit to.

I wonder how you will feel about this if you actually do it and see Town after Town lynched, without any analytical reasons, and then wonder what the hell happened. It's a Mafia Team dream this is.

They don't even have to justify their votes anymore. Well done.

OMG this is just epic funny. Lynch Town to teach them a Lesson.

Hahahahahaha

Because that's really going to make them play more busy like next time. Lynch the Mafia.

Do you enjoy playing in a game with someone who barely post? imagine trying to case that person?

oh wait you cant case that person cuz they post the bare minimum, if lynching them hurts town, then keeping them is just as hurtful to town if not more

The single game results have no bearing on policy lynching.  The social pressure instilled does.  If you sign up...participate or be removed by your peers.  When you sign up..you are making a commitment.  If you can't keep it...don't sign up.

It's no fun go round and round with Despo, Dap, darthe and nolder each game while the others sit and watch.

If they are not meeting the Mod's requirements for the game, then the Mod will replace.

I'm hurt that I've been left out of that list

You haven't played much lately.  But really there were 3 games in a row it was the same 4 players providing all the content while others came and and just voted at deadline.  Gets old.

I was in the DPR Game ...

and couldnt play the BT Game 'cos I'd seen the set up. And then had to drop out of the Merlin Game before it even started.

I will be playing the next BT Game though.

Inactives are more likely to be Town

Yes and no. Any individual has a higher chance of being town because there are more townies but inactivity plagues both sides of the game equally.
