In a normal game people start a mafia, so there is no in game meta change and town tend to find those people ok

 

I get that he is a threat but I'm not getting why it's the end of the world threat

I do think it's something that needs to be taken care of right away though because there are so many inactives to go through.

As Ape pointed out earlier if we just let these people skate then they WILL become prime targets for converting if they aren't already.

Obviously the Possessed have kill as well so the smart thing to do is convert the people under the radar and shoot those who are on the right track or aren't garnering enough suspicion.

Dap I think his point is that there will be no meta change if/when he does/doesn't get possessed.

 

Thus we have no barometer of behavior.

 

And so he is a threat.

 

Meh, I don't really see it.  Early town, not sure who to case, muddles along.  Then recruited.....pretty easy to maintain what you've been doing, right?

 

Or....super townie, casing left and right and making waves.  Then recruited.....just keep doing that.  No need to change.  Buss teammates, go after smaller cases on townies....typical scum behavior, etc etc.

I gotta use the mobile version myself <.< first my reply boxes disappeared, but I found a workaroudn (using Safari in developer-mode, made me able to switch to the ipad-verson on the mac) but now my laayout is completly messed up, gah. I hate the mobile version and it makes mafia games a real drag.

Any thought as to why Wombat was mentioning you before?

 

 

 

Wombat sits within a circle of candles, eyes closed, sending his energy out to try and sense the evil presence.

 

NotBob's lynch has emboldened him and he seeks to press that advantage.

 

He shouldn't have.

 

Within the very moment that he first touches the spirit, he wishes he hadn't - it is far worse than he could have ever expected, an evil so dark that he instantly understands why no one has ever stood a chance against it.

Question still stands, Kaylee.  Even more appropriate now, actually.

 

^^^ this sequence by Verb around the Wombat death is shady. However, his other questioning to people besides Kaylee seemed genuine and not just for show.

 

 

 

I think Wombat was killed for hunting inactives. Think we should continue on that trail.

He could indeed have been, however I'm less likely to believe he was at current. We'll see how it plays out.

I have a very big gut.  I often go with it.  It tells me your a ghost. At first I thought it said toast.  I was sad when I find out it wasn't.  I like toast.  Soon you will die here. Lilly running small game at JN.  Go sign up so you don;t get bored. 

 

Looks like my return to JN is upon us

 

 

Honestly I have to agrees with Nolder on this, I don't think there is any hope in pulling off a town win at this point it's phase 4 and we've lost over 10 townies between recruits and deaths combined

My previous post commenting on Nolder's opinion, was referring to the last post on the previous page I had it all typed up but didn't post due to some shit comming up so another page of stuff was posted while I was away from my computer

This doesn't make sense.

 

First you say you want a case from them cos they have your alignment wrong and then you ask them to recruit you.

 

If you think they can recruit you then you think they are Mafia. If they are Mafia then they would know your alignment - be it Town or Mafia. If they are Town then they can't recruit you.

 

Of course you could be Mafia yourself and are just stirring things up.

 

Either way it's not a helpful thing to say.

As a sidenote, I think my circumstances are a pretty good indicator that I am definitely not scum and definitely some sorry ass town.

 

Berf, nothing to do with my attention span. There are 4 games going on right now that I am alive or still have stakes in. This makes 5. When was the last time you played two DM mafia games at the same time? Or played any here?

 

Anyways, I do see that I make a good target for possession. That's risky. But there are people more inactive than even I am if I understand you all correctly. So if you want to bark up that tree it sounds like you have a lot of better options.

 

I intend to get caught up on this game by tomorrow, and I am very much up to date with all posts since my arrival. If any of you would be so kind as to give me some summary points that would be brilliant but you don't owe it to me.

 

If not, wait. I will respond and be active based on everything I know (not much) and try to catch up on the rest.

 

If you don't like it, lynch me. Sounds like this game is going so well that another town is exactly who we want to lynch.

 

I thought this game featured some returning legends. And it's 10 town to 1 mafia thus far? What the hell have you all been up to in 80 pages?

Exactly. It puts us in a bind and it really sucks. We have no choice but to play the hand we've been dealt though.
