How's things round the Farmyard? I must admit I have little idea of what's been happening other than official stuff and events I was told about. Feel free to reply and update me with gossip and funnies from the last couple of months!! :D

Recap of what epicness hath happened recently:

 

~ Our illustrious Lady Dragon recently made a stealthy scouting trip paid a visit to the BotRH's Pink Loincloth Tavern. Welcomed warmly by the friendly drunkards and brawlers, Tina elegantly made away with their stock of prized beverages... Quite understandably, the hotblooded horseriders, sword- and bowmen - and women - soon retaliated by marching on the BT.  The invasion looks like it was quite a, uh... party. Well, they surely know how to have a good time, and so do we, so let's hope we meet again sometime for a brew and brawling, eh!

 

~ The monthly discussions are interesting and popular as always with our ravenous, culinary talented crowd - I heard that Mmmmmm....Yummy! turned into a regular foodfest XD Big thanksies to the lovely Cindy for modding this one! The current discussion is making me all excited and I will surely check it out too when it's not 3am - MUSIC is wonderful, and I encourage y'all to do the same and head over there! I see it's well underway already anyway :) Another awesome lady is guest hosting this one, thankee BridMorgan!

 

~ As always, the BT was not only chock-fulla spam but also play (well those two go hand in hand really) and so, there were a couple of very successful mafia games; the ever inventive and trixy Games Mistress Ithi presented Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark Mafia and Darthe´s mafia game. Both turned out to be over 150 pages long (!!!!!!!), and were won by the mafia teams. Gratzles!

Theeeen, we had an epic BT Easter Egg Hunt Game, many kudos to Mr mod, Ed, and congrats to Maw and the Shadowites who won by finding the most eggs hidden all over the Tower! And Ithi's game of Scrabble at the BT was won by the Blue Team, yay!

 

~ Moar proof that we are, as our Lady Dragon said, constantly talking about food:
This edition's example of a prime spam thread was RTE´s Hungry like the wolf. And in April, the Light vs. Shadow - dinner challenge (on the priiiiivate boards, nananana come join and you can see it too! *cue jangly ad music* )  Both Factions were encouraged to serve up original three-course dinner and drinks and dazzle with everything posh around it. The Shadow tried hard and were very original with an... interesting... entry of Monkey Brain and Bloodredwine, yet Lighties such as Nikon and company whipped up a more palatable meal and won this contest :P

 

~ And what the Taint o.O the Goal: 200,000 thread has almost 182,000 replies, pretty close to the goal....again....already!! XD We're goin' good guys n gals!

 

Now, for a big highlight brought to us by Tina @ JordanCon! The lovely Lady Dragon took a lot of time to gather little contributions from a lot of BTers, and arranged them all into a Black Tower book to give to Brandon Sanderson himself!! :O Check it OUT!

Fun stuff that's coming up (or has already started) -

 

~ The sign ups for Rand´s LotR mafia game have been up a while, game is almost full so HURRY SCURRY YOU ORK MAGGOTS ;D

 

~ the hugely popular BT Hunger Games are back for a third time!!!! Ed's Shadar Logoth game will also be starting soon one it's full, find it HERE!!

 

~ Gear up Asha'men and women and everyrank else! Start up your Channeling fires and go do some Target practice at the Battle Grounds, because guess what - we will be having a new One Power Tournament soon!! Watch out for it on the main board

 

And finally, we come to our

~ EPIC CHALLENGE UPDATE ~

(As you may remember, after reaching the milestone record of 100,000 posts in one thread in June, our new goal (as well as getting 200,000 posts in that thread too now), is to TOP the other two really active boards, in OVERALL REPLIES! The WT was 'defeated' in October 2012, now only General Discussion remains to be conquered ...slowly but surely we’re closing the gap!)

 

As of NOW:

 

General Discussion has upped to: 635,935 total replies[last month:  621,360]

Black Tower SG, which now has 526,268 total replies [last month: 489,233]

WE'RE UPPING SPEEDILY AGAIN!!!!

Excellent come back, Nya Skeeter! Yeh, I´m not M´Hael anymore but don´t tell Turin. :D It was great to meet the Band and I think I need to visit them more often.
