@Kay - Why did you claim District 2? Was it because you thought that people would lynch me anyways since GF outed me as 3rd party?

Because I saw I had no chance. Too many confirmed townies. Even with your lynch and a NK I couldn't have won. I felt I had no chance and gave up. If I hadn't voted Via and we lynched someone else I might've had a chance. But with BG alive he'd have figured out I wasn't posting in the QT and would've NK'd me. So I thought I'd look as townie as possible, lynch who town wanted.

 

Actually, if you got anyone else (but you) lynched, you would have won (you do a NK and whoever remains with you is endgamed = die). There was a reasonable chance of that happening. Dice was confirmed as townie, but neither Razen nor TG was a sure thing. Either of them could have been an SK (and their play would still make sense, SK should be trying hard to get scum lynched). You were in trouble when TG fixed on you because Razen was harder to mislead (he knew it was him making the Vig shot). It was a very grim situation for you, but not completely hopeless.

And I decided to watch the movie. Well I payed for the dvd already, so soon enough I watch it.

Read the book, if you got the chance, it's better than the movie. The movie isn't bad either though.

Ah, I see.  Though, as CS pointed out, if you had gotten me lynched and been successful with the NK you would have won.  Either way, you played well.

Thanks guys. I tried to get suspicion on TG, but they didn't want to go for it. It was fun though.

I knew it was a possibility it was gonna be real though for you Kay. How hard/easy you'd get it depended on so much; how many mafia was left, how many districts had been claimed, if Katniss still was in the game and so on. It was def. the most unpredictable outcome in the game.

 

 

 

But all in all, I as a mod am very happy with how it ended. The game was wide open almost all the time, I didn't know most of the time who would win. And I think that's a sign of both a well-balanced game, and a game well played by the players!

Agreed!  I wasn't sure of TG either - I was almost certain that we'd lost and that it was going to be between TG and Kaylee for the win.
