ok im a bit scattered cause RL has blown up bad on me in the last couple of days  so im not really able to go pull quotes and stuff so i am relying on my gut feel of what i read.

 

RTE seems like scum to me. He soft claimed, he has been pushing for lynches on csarmi and darthe. Basically hes been acting like total scum.

 

Now vam I think has basically outted himself and so i will be voting him but i do think we need a hard look at rte

I have NOT outted myself. You really should be taking a much closer look at RTE or Ishy instead of myself. If I am lynched, it will be proved to all of you that I am Town and therefore the Town loses another player for this game who can help us defeat the Mafia.

That you are a lurking skimmer.  But I doubt that is the case.  Wow..just look at your response to Dice about looking at RTE.  Did you skim right past the part that Basel investigated RTE?

Well, before today's phase began, I had been planning to vote RTE. I'd viewed him to confirm my suspicions that he was scum. But since I have town views on both him and CS, then both must be town. If RTE were a GF, CS would be dead now. If CS were scum, even a GF, I wouldn't have gotten a view on him at all because he'd be lying about being a hider. So that removes both my first and second choices of who to vote. I'm going to go back to Vam. He still has been slow to offer a defense for his scummy-looking actions. And his OMGUS reaction to Ishy's vote was way over the top, and hardly justified given how small the train on him was at the time. Vote Vam.

Am I a lurking skimmer when I suggest that someone ought to be taken a closer look at by the rest of the players in the game? Is it wrong to suggest that we ARE indeed playing a mafia game and therefore no one's word should be accepted at face value? Should I be voted against simply because I don't have NEAR the amount of time that the rest of you all do to spend on Dragonmount allowing you all to read and read and case and case over and over again? Well, then you all will just have to accept that I do indeed have a REAL life outside of Dragonmount which occupies the VAST majority of my time and attention as compared to Dragonmount and the mafia games. 

 

 

So, if you all are so inclined to lynch me, then there really is not a whole lot that I can do about it. The coroner's report will PROVE to ALL of you all that I am Town and then that means that the mafia team has won yet another Day phase. When it is proven that I am right, then the rest of you will attempt to justify your votes against me... ((which you've already tried to justify)) and then be forced to continue to hunt for the REAL scummy players in the game. Good luck with that.

Vam: it's not just that you're not around as much. It's that Basel had gotten a town view on RTE. Then someone voted him and was reminded about that fact. After that you say you think he should be looked at. He's been cleared as town.

Is it possible that Basel is NOT on the town team? Is that even remotely possible? Is it also a possibility that Basel is lying about the report he got on his viewing of RTE? After all, we are talking about Mafia and the possibility of misdirection and half-truths should always be considered.

What purpose would mafia have to out townies? Vetting RTE also cleared Csarmi and Darthe. Csarmi hid behind Darthe N1, if you remember. That would narrow the townies they could try to set up and discredit. It would be more believable that they would try to discredit the hider, not make him and the ones he hid behind appear vetted.

In an advanced game, such as this one, is it possible that some of the players you mentioned are NOT on the Town team? Is that a possibility? If the answer to that question is yes, then that would mean that they are playing a challenging gambit as mafia or a possible third party which ... if successful...would make them appear to be Town to the rest of us Town players.

I'll share anyhow.  We wait until tomorrow and in the night Csarmi uses his hider ability and protect on Basel, freeing Basel to view whoever and the doc to self protect.  If Csarmi dies Basel is lying, Basel will know Csarmi's alignment by tonight, and then we can use each of them as protection for both to continue gaining easy results until the mafia finds the doc (if one is in the game).  With Csarmi calling his views it is pretty easy,

I've specifically asked people what info Tina's lynch provided as it was an excuse for voting her. I haven't heard back yet except Kronos who I wasn't as concerned about since he didn't actually vote Tina.

I was going to quote Peace, Tress, Kronos and Ishy as they were all pushing the Tina lynch for info yet none have responded as to what info they actually got from it. Especially where Tress says her lynch will "help clarify several things for me".

 

What exactly did you learn? Besides her being town I don't see it.

 

I'll actually take exception to the characterization of "pushing" the Tina lynch.  I was nowhere near pushing it.  I voted near the end of the day, after mulling it over in my head for a good bit, but not chatting about it, or even so much as nudging.

 

As Kronos said, there is always information to be had from any lynch train.  For me, personally, I was hoping to have it clarify a few things about the people who were pushing, and pushing hard. If Tina had been mafia, I would have had a better feeling about the people who were leading her lynch, for instance.  Since she flipped town, I also expect to pick up a few things on re-read.

 

I was seeking clarity, and still am.  In that vein, I have a question for BG.
