Hiya Spyro!!  I "met" you over in the DM Welcome Thread so I'm very glad to see you took my amazing advice and joined a Social Group.  Well you may have joined more than one (did ya?  Huh? you can tell me!!   ) but you joined the BEST one by joining the Band!!  Oh wait, I suppose I should introduce myself..I tend to forget that.  I'm Brid, one of the Cavalry members.  Soon one of our esteemed Senior Staff members will add you to the usergroups and get you all situated so you can see all of our secret boards.  You do have to sign in blood and pinkie swear to never tell anyone about the secret boards.  The first rule about secret boards....you don't talk about secret boards. 

 

Well I'm going off on a bit of a tangent.  Where was I...oh yes.  So feel free to post in the areas you can see at the moment and ask any quesitons you may have.  We're a pretty friendly bunch (just watch out Kat...she has been known to bite sometimes)  *hands Spyro a Bandy*  Bandy is the official drink of the Cavalry.  Best drink around, but the other regiments will try to convince you otherwise.  But we both know I'm right.

 

I do have to say (and please don't hurt me  ) that all I can think of when I see your name is a purple dragon. 

 

Oh, and ignore my babble about secret boards....we don't talk about secret boards.

I'm Andrej, or just simply AJ, and am a member of the Archers. You did well to listen to BriMo by joining the Band! For you, have two.

Nice to meet you all, nice to see a warm welcoming community, makes me feel jsut as at home as on the other forum I frequent n_n

 

This is the first social group I've joined, I"ll probably join more later, but I like to stick to one when I start out, get a feel for the forums before I get too much going on, haha. And the Red Band had me hooked at "Music Discussion."

 

I'm a bit of a musician myself, so it was the obvious choice.

 

And no offense taken, Brid, that's where I got the name :p

 

And thanks for the drinks Brid and Andrej, if only I could actually enjoy them, might make work go by faster :p

Pssst.... Bandy is great, but Flaming Shots (Archers Drink) are great too! 

 

Brid may have lured you over here, but you can trust me more. She is my official groupie, after all. You can't have groupies unless you are trustworthy, right?   If I didn't like Bandy before becoming an Archer I'd use this space to tell you all about how awesome Flaming Shots are... but you'll just have to take my word on it, that Flaming Shots are great.

So anyway, you're a muso? That's exciting. Very exciting.    :)  I'm a cellist and a singer, what do you do? I have claimed you by right of dibs because you are a muso (so that means you must join the cavalry  *nodnod*...*siiigh* fine, you can join the other ones if you reeeeally want to...but that's pretty unlikely*

Yup, I love Spyro!!!  Used to play the games all the time.  I actually just downloaded the original on my PS3.  LOL

I used to play Spyro on my... what were those called? The little square-shaped gameboy that was the immediate predecessor of the DS. I liked it on my friend's PS2, but I have a strong dislike for Playstation, so I had to wait for it to reach a different platform...

Oh, by the way, the name is Jea I've been in the Band for years and been it's leader for about 9 or 10 months now I think, and loving every minute of it! Katiora is my second in command and she'll be in charge of your points and rank advancements! I see you've already met many of the others, and there are many more still to meet!

*finds a barrel of bandy, opens the top, siphons about one quater of bandy out and feeds it to some Georges, who promply fall unconscious (potent stuff that), and shoves Dice and BB in together*

Oh, and by the way Spyro, the band is all about music, travel, and brawling. This stuff happens a lot.
