Ok..I don't get these statements.  It's been done.  I know of 3 occasions distinctly when it's happened and I have suspicions it's happened at least a few more times.  In fact, I've to believe its become a tactic to stall lynches when scum on on the noose.

The difference here peace is that Red has been dropping almost all of her games lately.  The first she was scum in was because she became upset with how strongly people favored using her meta to hang her regardless of alignment or gameplay and the rest since have been because she is planning a wedding and often finds herself without much time lately.  Yes, Red has been replaced as mafia twice when under scrutiny, but I do not know if that is because of the scrutiny or because of simply not having the time to put in the effort she feels she should for her team.  Either way it is not a subject open for discussion and in my mind borders on player bashing.  Please stop for now and either choose to lynch me on gameplay (practically the only option with the time left, 22 hours) or vote for the scum like I am,

I have to agree with Peace and must say that i did think that when she said she was being replaced. Some things she has done in the past do color how people look at her and that is fair enough really. I know i did it when she posted that link to the weather in her area  i immeadiately thought it was a stall tactic and it has definetly added to why i am voting her now Darthe. The ONLY reason she is not my vote for prez is that mafia may have tried to set her up with their NK  but like i said she could have suggested it to them too.

 

I am quite willing to change my vote to Red/Darthe if we need it close to DL as i think she has been the scummiest so far.

Agreed. I have been playing mafia at DM for 3 years - though this is my first game in around six months - but i have never seen Red manipulate the basic premise of the game in such a way. Regardless of what Darthe's alignment proves to be i do not believe that Red dropping out was anything other than due to her RL circumstances.

 

Now it's the weekend i have more free time to look back over the game since i joined it. Let's see what i can come up with over the weekend ;)

Yes there is...case someone you think is scum.

 

And all of you "sometimes players..or haven't played in a long time or a brand new to DM mafia" have to understand there is a reason the rules were "enhanced."  This practice has happened in games past. 

 

So excuse me if I don't take your "beliefs" into consideration.  Your "beliefs" have nothing to do with the facts.

 

I like Red..she is a great player..but the fact is, in the past, as scum she has gotten mad and quit when there was pressure on her.   Specifically it was a game where she was trying to change her META and MYND called her on it.   I'm sure many here remember that game. 

 

Just because you may not have witnessed the game does not mean it didn't happen nor that it could happen again.  This is not bashing, or an attack of character, it's a statement of fact. 

 

Now I'm happy to agree to disagree on whether or not yall think this is happening in this case and move on, but I will not budge on the fact that recently on DM this has been a tactic.  (btw..Red isn't the only one who's done it.)

 

That's all I'm saying on the issue.  If anyone wishes to discuss with me specifically, post a thread after the game is over.

I know, but we've had a long day.  There's been plenty of time to drum up a case on someone.  Many aren't participating.

Yeah I was supposed to do this the day before yesterday, but then Cloudflare was acting up for me, and yesterday I spent the day taking care of my fostercat that had been to the vet and gotten neutered so she was all groggy and out of it. Wich is why I haven't had time before now <.< Bah.
