BASE MAFIA - Mafia Wins!

I always thoughr vigs were mainly a day kill thing. But i like them as both

Where had he gotten off to?  The group yelled his name into the morning forest, dew still fresh on the leaf.  Their only reply was the call of a dozen birds singing their shrill harmonies.  They waited for an hour, sent people out by the second, fretted and knew in their hearts that he was lost forever by the third.  

 

On the fourth hour the group packed up and left.  They had no choice, it was the needs of the group over that of an individual.  

 

An hour the trail one of them saw it, the hastily covered blood spatter leading into the woods.  They knew the truth.

 

John Snow - Town Vanilla had been killed.  

 

Once more the group fell into bickering and their conversation played out as followed...

Well, interesting. I had a thought that Snow was the cop... I don't think I was the only one in that logic. Funny Turin, I think you sort of directed a NK from the mafia team. Desperation at it's finest.

 

Anyway, in light of what happened yesterday I must say that I think I have likely been completely wrong on just about everything this game. I don't know why, but I just didn't recognize the things some of you were seeing in Peace. He almost had me at DL too with his mention that the Vig was a NA only role, seeing as how it wasn't specified until after.

 

For now, I think my vote will go to one of the lurkers. Someone who hasn't contributed much in this game and I think was forced to vote yesterday since he showed up at DL. Even then, he seemed noncommittal until after the reveal.

 

Also, with Peace's flip... I'd like to bring up this beauty.

Turin already pointed this out when he did all his casing back in D1, but I didn't think much of it back then. Could still be nothing, but I know he was around when Turin mentioned Snow being the cop yesterday to RTE when he swapped his vote back. The fact that Snow is now dead seemed like the scum team got hopeful, not surprised.

I don't blame you Mish. And I wasn't really buddying you on D1, more so defending you when Tiink tried to divert attention onto you after you said you'd be gone. Looked like an obvious diversion tactic and he seemed like a sure bet to flip mafia. I cased you because your play seemed suspicious to me. I went back and pointed at the things, it wasn't just completely random. And yes, I did agree with Peace a lot. I pegged him for town, and obviously, I was very wrong about him like I was very wrong about Tiink.

I must say that I disagree with quite a bit of your takes. Obviously the most wrong being that you have me as mafia. I was second on Tiink's train after I had a chance to actually interact with him and hear that what he was saying did not make sense to me. Then I pushed for his lynch so there is no way that my actions were not noticed. I put out the case and  people agreed that he was the best lynch. But welcome to the game.

'Welcome to the game'? Great snarky comment meant to discredit my entire post. And then you have Peace and Rand/Ishy as the mafia team? Peace and Ishy? Peace who has been going after Rand all game, and Ishy who calls Peace the scumminest player in the game? That is your mafia team? Either you have never played mafia before and think that in small, basic games mafia try to get their teammates lynched, or you just slipped up and outed yourself. I'm now completely convinced you are mafia.

How Turin envisions the mafia QT:

Rand: hey guys, in this small, basic game, lets lynch me! I'll make a joke vote, then you all vote me for my joke vote being too jokey! Just keep coming after me nomatter what, it'll be great!

Peace: I like it, having even fewer of us in a small game, super plan, lets do it. We won't just case each other and comment on each other, we will really try to get each other lynched.

Ishy: Hey guys, I just came in and I really like your plan. Us trying to win with good play would have been stupid anyways. I just hope nobody is so awesome at this game that they realize we are on a team.

In conclusion, Turin is scum, lynch him.

 

 

How the mafia QT really is:

Turin: Alright, let's make sure we comment on each other but don't lynch each other unless a so lately necessary. We will try to get the scumminest looking townies lynched....hmm...that looks like peace and rand/Ishy so far. I'll go claim they are on a team.

Peace is really only going for Ishy, not the other way around. Ishy is voting me, like you were previously. He made a comment about him, yes, but I think he was just trying to discredit my post by say I was defending Peace who is "one of the scummiest players"

Peace has been going hard at Rand/Ishy the whole game, since the very beginning. Turin, as an experienced player, would know that they would not be teammates. He slipped up. Again, why are you not voting Turin after his mistake?

The thing is teammates distance, teammates include each other in cases, but they don't actively build trains to get each other lynched.

As to the bolded, I can't decide whether AJ is scum, or just really, really excited to be playing in his first game. I'm leaning more towards Time for her refusal to vote Peace and stay on Turin. Add that to her lurky play and she doesn't really pass the smell test, at least to me.

 

Also, look back at the night kill. The fact that scum wouldn't NK a vetted Townie, and instead kill someone who was already catching a lot of heat and was already a prime lynch candidate seems to point to a newbie Mafia team. I don't know whether or not Darthe or Len would allow Peace to continue posting in the QT or not, but no way would a veteran scum member choose Snow as the NK. Were I scum, he would definitely not have been my choice, better to let Town lynch him and keep my hands clean. So that being said, look to some of the newer players for the remaining Mafia. I like TG and Time right now as the last two.

Was this a Freudian slip, letting us know what you were thinking last night as you sent in your NA? Also, looking back I noticed Peace commented several times about my aggressive play. I'm sure he made the decision to keep me alive because he figured I would catch heat later in the game for it.

If you have suspicions he was the Cop, then why would you voice them out loud? Especially in a game like this, where he or she would only have one shot? Scum can read your thoughts too and use them. By speaking your suspicions, you paint a huge target on their back. If they want to claim, they will, don't make it easier for scum to pick up on a tell you noticed but they might not have. For all we know, they NK'd him because you led them right to him.
