Also, power roles should role claim at this point. With 9 people left, likely 3-4 are mafia. This could be our last day. Having 2 people claim without counter claims will give us basically two confirmed town at this point.

I don't agree for two reasons, A) there aren't 4 mafia, that would be unbalanced.  B) I think it is too early and would give mafia an advantage.  We should be able to wait a day before doing that.

Fair Enough. Most likey there are only 3. But if we lose town again, it's gotta happen tomorrow. I will say that if there is an innocent child, they should use it today. It might be suicidal, but it eliminates one potential suspect and kinda forces the mafia NK.

My reactions don't sound scummy to myself.  Then again I am biased.  However I would like to point out that LZM's claim seemed really suspicious to me at the time.  I thought it was really scummy to go and claim a power role like that right at the start of the game.  I have since then been proved wrong since he was in fact the jailkeeper.

I'll go back and explain why it was scummy when I've got some more time. For now, sufficient to say, pushing an uncountered claim is always suspicious. At worst, he could have been lynched later when 3 other power roles have been revealed. Its a point I would have made if I were in the game at the time. There was no point in pushing it.

BG, did you check the link to the setup in the op?

TG, I didn't think SirT even checked into the game. On phone so can't verify.

My work computer blocks MafiaWiki, but I'm familiar with the setup. TGlems is probably right, 3 mafia makes more sense. I like to play to worst possible scenario though.

@Kaylee - I also think that Cyan is scum. Don't back down so quickly. Cyan's explanation doesn't mean anything except she is trying to paint Lenlo more scummy by believing LZM.

And we have 9 people available.  That means that if we lynch wrong and they send in a kill, this means that we have 7 people left, which leaves us at lylo tomorrow.  We have 2 lynches left to get a mafia.  This being said, I believe that Lenlo is a good suspect.  He does seem like he was buddying up to LZM a lot, and imo, mafia wouldn't want themselves to stick out by going against LZM.  Also,

It's also entirely possible she was trying to get me lynched because TG and some others agreed with her that LZM wasn't a Jailkeeper.

I agree Kaylee but I want to wait for what she has to say before voting. Need to be real careful at this point in the game.

this, for some reason just strikes my mafia radar off.  The whole need to be real careful at this point is something already said, but here you try to emphasize it and make it seem like something that we really need to do, subtly trying to become someone who leads the town lynch by pointing out how important it is.  Gut feeling combined with buddying up and trying to lead town by saying things that have already been realized.  vote Lenlo

I am so out of this game, all the DM troubles has made me forget everything I thought about anybody, bah. How are we on time Darthe? I have a bad feeling it's running out fast.

I think that Lenlo is one of the worst choices we can make today.

Town Reads:

I just got done looking back over the thread and lost my multiquote for some reason, but both Lenlo and TGlems made errors about interpreting the setup which mafia wouldn't have made I'd think. Niether of them seemed forced but natural and as such, I believe them both to be town.

Mafia Reads:

Davrick understood the rules quite clearly but also posts lots of "I'm new" questions, which is interesting to me. You see, normally people who are quite clear on the rules ALSO take the time to look at the newer players threads or ask their mentors questions. Asking them on here seems slightly forced to me. Now what interests me most is that Cyan and Davrick pretty much never ever mention each other or acknowledge each other's arguements despite being of opposing opinions a few times in the game, most noticably about LZM, until the recent "newbie" arguement, but that felt like it was an obligatory name drop than anything else. This always seems to me that they are team mates taking different sides of the same arguements but not calling each other out on it so as to not draw unwanted protection. 1 person believes a claim, the other doesn't, that way they can't be tied together. Also, I seem to remember Cyan being one of the first to be voting for LZM over his claim, yet now he uses the arguement that he believed LZM, which I didn't see until it was obvious his train was going to pickup.

Vote Cyan or Davrick and we will do well.

Others:

Rand, Mish, Turin, Kaylee. All more experienced players in comparison (except Lenlo), coincidentally. Mish has seemed most town to me. Turin's been hard to read, but he's been very inquisitive, which is good. Kaylee feels like town Kaylee, and Rand "doesn't want to seem like he's defending Cyan" which seems like double speak for I'm backing up a buddy but don't want to look like it. Also votes Lenlo with Cyan.

Gah. Phone nomed my post.

I said I think Rand and Cyan are the two highest on my suspect list. Davrick is next on my list after them as well.Vote Cyan.

Sorry if this has odd formatting or errors. Stupid phone devices.

Cyan has 2 votes, Lenlo has 2 votes, it takes 5 to lunch, my apologies for the crappy VC I am on mobile because of a wonky Internet connection .

Eff, only three hours left?  My suspicions lay on Mish (for her OMG I'm alive post), Len (seemed to be buddying up a bit too hard to LZM) and Cyan (entirely for BG's case, lazy I know but with only 3 hours left I won't be able to do a more thorough analysis of the interactions between her and Dav)

Seriously? While I was sleeping? <.<

Well tomorrow you will be at lylo, try not to mess it up. Lenlo is scum, I'm sure of it, I've already explained why. Please do everyone a favor and lynch him.

I triimed this down so that it only holds what I'm addressing.

BG, I find this interesting. Not sure if you're eager town or anti-town trying to make a good case on a townie.

This was appreciated since it helped me to better see your thoughts other than "so and so are scum".

I think that Lenlo is one of the worst choices we can make today.

The purple: I had noticed the whole "I'm new" but somehow missed the knowing the rules part. (Might have been in my notes that the laptop killed)

The teal: I really hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out.

Sorry to do this cyan but at the time I am reading this I don't know if I have time to go and re-read everything and make a better vote.

Vote Cyan.

You didn't have time before this? This post reaks to me.

He was amazed when they hung her.  The people were growing out of control, beginning to madly kill whomever stood out to them.  It was a nightmare.  Apparently another had the same thought as he vomited by a tree away from her.  She twitched a final few times and went still, it had not been an easy hanging but, as they say, a lynch is a lynch.  A quick prayer went up from the man, hopefully to help guide her spirit.  It was all he could do now.

Cyan, Regular Villager has been lynched.

It is now Night, you have until 12/8 at 12:07 to submit any actions that you should wish.

I was at work when I posted this and wouldn't have gotten home until after the deadline.  My phone doesn't like DM that well and navigating the forums are troublesome.  As for my understanding of the rules, I read the opening post and looked up pick your poison on the mafia wiki to get a better understanding of the concept of this game.  My other questions, I just felt they would be answered faster here rather than asking my mentor and waiting for a reply.  As for my interactions, or lack of with Cyan I don't necessarily see how this is important.  There are a lot of people I haven't interacted with in this game.  Sure I addressed some peoples comments when they were directed at me..actually I need to go back and check for any I may have missed, but the biggest reason why I haven't been more interactive is that I generally try to avoid confrontation with people.  Which may be a bad thing to do in this game now that I think about it.  I've had fun so far with this game but in all honesty I am not sure if playing mafia games are for me.

Now in regards to Cyan's comment about my lack of scumhunting and how I seem to just go along with what others are saying.  She is right, I have been kinda going along with what others are saying.  I have been reading most of everyone's posts here and some of what they say about the actions of other people do make a bit of sense, but then things like what happened with LZM saying he is the jailkeeper come along and confuse me.  From my understanding of the game roles like the doctor and even the jailkeeper are a good thing to keep quiet because they can save people, which is why I think no one else has even mentioned they have a role it paints a large target on their back.
