I actually think Glems is a bit more iffy for coming so fast to GFs defense, than GF's spamming. Now, I'm not gonna use the fact that you're new towards you a lot Glems, I know how annoying that can be. But it just seemed like a newb-scum type of comment for me. Still on D1 pass for me though; we'll see how tomorrow goes. So I'll vote GF because that was indeed a bit too obvious.

Sorry if I'm being slow, but I guess I did not realize that asking "Oh hey, you just came into the game and immediately decided to vote for so-and-so, why did you do that?" is considered defending another player and "scummy". Because, in my mind, my question of "Out of curiousity, why did you vote for so-and-so?" is pretty self explanatory, especially when you want to know the reasons for votes since, in my mind, asking for "voting reasoning" is a line of defense against mafia steering the game from their QT.

 

If anything, my question was two-fold. Part A is if there is some reasoning I don't get, I would like to hear it (which Despo later explained by commenting on the sudden activity). Part B was that it seemed awfully fast and could potentially be a quick vote based on the mafia QT rather than actually reading through the entire thread. Especially after the skimming discussion.

 

I begin to understand how Perrin felt playing Daes Dae'mar; I mean what I say and people find hidden meanings :-)

Mafia is Daes Dae'mar; that's the first thing they should tell you when you start playing :P You can never know if anyone actually means what they say. I get your frustration, it's only two months or so since I started playing myself. So I'll say; just get used to it, and don't get riled up about it. There's nothing personal, it's just the game, and the game is all about finding hidden patterns and discovering lies or weird behaviour.

 

Your question in itself, not so bad. But you asking that and then GF starts acting quite suspicious, that's weird. It's not a too bad thing in itself, but people see it and take note of it for later in the game.

Thanks. I re-read my post (before actually hitting the post button) and realized it did seem a little "upset" so I tried to put the smiley face at the end to balance it out, because so far this is tons of fun and I'm really enjoying all the back and forth.
