Noice! This makes today an absolutely spectacular day for town- not only did we lynch a scummer (altho he helped us out a lot ), but we also have a PLETHORA of info to be gleaned from all the voting that occured, both before and after the challenge. I'm gonna have some fun lookin through day 3 to recap, I have a feeling we can nab at least another scum or two by looking closely at the votes

 

This also clears BG in my book, even tho it could have been a skilled gambit to have the gauntlet thrown between two mafia, I really doubt that was the case this time. And the great part is I doubt mafia will target him, since killing him would nullify their own blocker as well!

 

As for Verb, this finally does look like some significant evidence against him because the challenge could have potentially been issued to divert attention off of him, but it could also be as Verb said and that it was a trick designed to make him look bad. For now tho I'm feeling it was probably the former.

You must be thinking of someone who actually DOES pull crazy plays out of his butt. Think this through for a sec

 

I was pretty strongly in the "vote for BG" camp before the challenge was issued, and immediately afterwards I was as well, and since I wasn't sure if the votes would all be reset or not I figured I could leave my vote where it was (on BG before the challenge) and see what happened later on.

 

There was really no reason for me to fake being vote controlled, I could have continued with the path that I had been on, and said I still wanted to vote BG. And if you notice, BG still came very close to being lynched and might have if it weren't for Darthe's little slip at the end.

 

But the fact that I WAS vote controlled (and yes, I was, I can now announce it openly), actually led me to believe that I was wrong, and that my initial suspicions on Darthe were correct. Which is why I tried making it as clear as I could that I thought others should vote Darthe, even tho I had to vote BG.

 

Incidentally, it really wasn't that great of a choice for the mafia team to VC me, since I had been an advocate of BG's lynch before that. Had they VC'd someone else, they might have been able to pull it off. Of course, their plan could have been to discredit me I suppose. /shrug
