Honestly, I am getting a town read on Ed right now. No mafia would be so belligerent, accuse a mod-confirmed townie, and do this. Its one of those things where he is so scummy that he has to be town.

1. I am not so scummy.

2. I could be expertly fooling you. But I'm not. I don't think I am acting scummy. I am just saying it how it is, yo. *copies Red's gangs signs*

well at least you acknowledge that. yes, I have been fence-sitting a little, but I have also shown clear opinions in this game as well. The fence sitting has mainly been because I have been confused this game about somethings going on, but that's no excuse. Yes, I have been fence-sitting a little in this game, going to try and get clearer views soon, but I have not been fence-sitting the whole game.

How many times you going to admit to fence-sitting in this post? hahaha

I never have understood how fence sitting can be considered a legit accusation. At best its a little wifom. If you are town, you have no direct knowledge of alignments. Therefore fence sitting is natural.

The wifom part I get cause scum can use fence sitting as a way to hedge.

But fence sitting on it's own is not an indication of guilt. I've felt that way many times as town.

It's coming across to me as playing a little too careful - trying to play both sides of the fence, so to speak, not being willing to be pinned down to a position.

This. When people accuse of fence-sitting, it is because they think it sounds too intentional.

"I don't normally fnece sit but when I do I make sure I show everyone my splinters."

I think that was the line you were looking for in response to Rand.

I think it's more townie to vote hop than fence sit

reasoning?

Townies react to new information as it crops up

Scum look for opportunity and weakness to push on

Haven't we all discussed quoting large posts when replying to only a small part?

And

Perfect description.

Night is my top choice for the obvious. I was orginally leaning town for him but his recent postings reak. The list without a case, and the "if these people are town I hope we lose" post. With how rapidly his train is building I'll hold off a vote for now.

If you buy red 1.0's reasoning, then you should vote me.

I do think it's likely that he is Jaqen H'gar. I've not idea whether he's town, 3:rd party or something else. Assuming it's 50/50 he's town, I'd say he could probably to more harm if he's something other than town, than he could do good if he's town. That's because of the fact that he has already exposed himself. Of all the likely lynch candidates, he's probably town's best chance, in my opinion. Unvote . Vote Basel .

The "likely" lynch candidates at that point was basically bg and Basel, or the non-voters if we were really unlucky.

and you fence sat on both the likely votes, tried to push focus onto the inactives which would have split the votes given how close thsi was to the deadline.

I didn't know he was 3:rd party, and there's no way the resoning was because I was town and therefore didn't know. Therefore it must be because I was scum. Good reasoning there.

really Strike? i'm misinterpretting everything your saying?? so none of my points i've made are valid or truthful about you over the last 54 pages?

you know like

- you stating a few times the mod confirmed townies might not be good

- that you flung the newbie card around pretty hard to begin with

- that most of your responses for the first half of D1 were in response to either defending yourself or spam

- that your vote on Basel was "for the majority"

- that your fence sitting on Basel and BG's alignement, and being wishy washy about them

- that your contradicting yourself on the voting inactives sentament.

-"maybe not always good for town either" for scum and town alike. Therefore I'm scum.

-I'm not a newbie, and therefore I'm scum.

-I'm the worst spammer in the thread, and noone accused me for faulty reasons, so I had no reason to point out what's real or not. Therefore I'm scum.

-I initially didn't want to vote Basel, and the post I voted him in didn't explain my reasoning in any way that could mean I'm town (see quote above). Therefore I'm scum.

-Although I didn't fence sit on bg's alignment (I said I thought he was town - and obviously I don't know for sure that he is). Me not wanting to vote him from the start (I wanted to lynch songstress), and there's no way that me saying what I said in the first quote could be anything other than scummish.

-Yeah, sure, I totally did that. I don't feel like digging up those but sure I must be guilty. Hence scum.

Despo and Red seemed to disagree who to go after a couple of pages back. Maybe indicative of that they're not on the same team, at least if one of them isn't town. If both are town, then I suppose it means absolutely nothing. Nolder has argued for not pursuing the issues with EP that has taken so much time and effort, so I think I should consider him a likely townie. Those that have spent a lot of space on those issues could be on the scum team, as someone else pointed out. Nolder, perhaps?

Him=Kublai Khan. Townie=scum. EP=Nolder. Nolder=EP. I therefore linked EP and Nolder, so that I pointed out that both must be scum, and therefore only 3 of those 2 could be scum. Therefore I'm scum. I confess.

Woah Night, not cool. I was suspicious of you already, but the last few pages pretty much confirm it. If you're town you gotta stop acting so scummy! But you're mafia, so I guess it doesn't matter. I'm gonna hold off voting you for now though since we still have plenty of time.

And sorry I'm not so active in this game. It's hard to keep up with everything.

Vote NS. I've been away all day long, so a good deal of this is stuff that I have been beaten to the argument. But his supplying an entire list without any reason was something I've never seen in any game before that I can recall. Voting or FoSing one person with no case, yes I've seen that, but a full scum list? The comment that he hopes town loses pings hard. Who wants town to lose? That's right: scum! And let's not forget the blatant and unrepentant OMGUS on Red, backed up by the logic of "she's wrong and must therefore be scum". Riiiight. I think that if Basel 1.0 were still around, that he might have NKed NS just on policy for all the trolling.

So if NS is scum, and is lynched... win. If NS is town and is lynched... well, he has not been a team player and has not really made an attempt to be helpful toward town. So not as big a win, but I'd still call it a small win.

I can't tell if that push was complete sarcasm or if you really are that bad as mafia..

Tada. We really didn't need the impressionism.. Its only point is to try and buff your own image in the game and it reads as very.. theatrical. AKA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNtrJc03Beo

Gee, here's a radical thought for you... I might honestly believe that NS is scum? You present the only options here as me being sarcastic, or that I'm just really bad as scum, as if these are the only two possibilities there are. You respond with a confusing post that doesn't even quote who you're replying to. And then you go on to say you don't need the impressionism. Where do you get impressionism? If I see someone as scum, do you seriously expect me to not call them out?

I fully expect you to play to your beliefs in game, however the bolded is clear Impressionism and a quite blatant push on someone who is already almost certain to die. Not to mention that nobody needed this case rehashed, it's only purpose, again, is to make it appear as if you're scum hunting. Good job on the far overly defensive reply though, kudos. Again, if you wanted to help the town at least give something more than what everyone else already knows thrown about in a different manner.

@Darthe: I have this thing called a job. Perhaps you have heard of them. I am away from home for several hours at a time while others have time to sit around on their duff and present their cases. As such, it is not unexpected that people will notice things before I even have a chance to read them. I saw things about NS that people had already commented on while I was away, and I found them scummy. Would you rather I explain why I am voting someone or just post a vote with no reasoning attached? If you are going to attack me for not being the first one to point out something because I was busy earning money in order to keep myself in good financial standing, then I consider that awfully close to getting personal.

Furthermore, if you are going to make a case on me or anyone else, obscure allusions are not a good idea. I don't understand why you are accusing me of impressionism, because in a GoT themed game I don't see what is so scummy about being part of a 19th century French style of painting.

Well, I have yet to bring your personal life into this at all, however.. you just did. What are you flailing so hard over? If you're town you should expect and be okay with a bit of pressure, after all the worst I can do is vote for you. I haven't said a thing about you not giving a reasoning, I simply see your reasoning as overdone and forced (notably the bolded.. stating this again). I might mention that you have done nothing to dissuade that and still haven't even mildly attempted to formulate a reason for it besides "I was workin". By all means though, feel free to bring your personal life into this then attack me for you bringing it in. That'll definitely gain you town cred..Doh!

Oh and I almost forgot! Impressionism is also a psychological term referring to psychological projection which, simplified, is stating a thought, impression, or idea in such a way that it attempts to conform another to your beliefs. This guy is scumtastic.

Hey Nightstrike, I can see your kinda bummed out by all this. Your reactions aren't helping your case. The emo nuttiness thing isn't what gets to me. Or even Red's casing, which I kinda agreed with you seemed trumped up. The fact you aren't going out on a limb and voting someone or casing someone to help town or something other than sulk about how everyone is voting for you convinces me that you don't really have any good reasons to accuse anyone of being scummy cause you don't want to incriminate anyone. If you are town like you proclaim to be, do something to help town. Actually, you haven't really proclaimed to be town, but you have sarcastically joked about being mafia a few times now.

Did you miss the post where he said he was town like 6 times? He over-proclaimed
