He had already claimed Jon Snow. Most of that canon talk was in response to others. You ignore this is his town meta. You saw a weak town player and took opportunity to exploit it. That's my opinion of your actions.

You have yet to move on and scum hunt others. You are still pushing the EP is scum angle when most (even Redd) have backed off.

Nol, you never did answer Red's question about knowing/asuming EP and John are town. I know they claimed Starks, which you are as well. They could still be lying. I personally am not sure of John Snow. At this point I have no reason not be beleive him.

I know they are town

Ok, I'm done with the re-read now. Man, you guys know how to argue  lol!

The only thing that really pings me now is Basel. Yeah, EP has played a messed up game to be sure, I don't think his playstyle is good at all; but I can not for the life of me imagine Jon Snow being anything but a good guy. So I'm gonna vote Basel, because I think this post:

@Peace: how is my vote "opportunistic"? Does my vote somehow change EP's alignment? The fact remains, EP has been playing scummy. He can't get his story straight about how much canon he knows, and he had been spending half his time deflecting valid discussion into arguments over canon and such things as to what defines being a bastard. I think all the canon arguments on his part (till the mods stepped in and required that they stop) have been an attempt to keep the talk away from legitimate scumhunting which might focus on him. If I think he is scum, I should be entitled to vote for him... in fact I should be expected to vote for him.

is extremely fishy. Fine, EP might be playing a brilliant game and is fakeclaiming Jon Snow, but both gut and logic says that's not the case. So Basel trying to call scum on someone who has a character that I would say is 99% certain is a town character is very suspicious in my eyes.

except for one thing basel, I never changed my story on what I knew. I said I never read the books, I have watched the show several times. I was basing all my info on the show, which is somewhere in book 2 roughly? that being said books and shows hardly line up accurately so yea...

The point is EP should die for his horrible game play, but we shouldn't lynch him. Sadly, he is most likely Town at the moment.

Noldy, that isn't really an answer. If you don't know because of being on a team or whatever, just stop answering like you are. Though, Red asking like that is kind of fishing for info. So, FoS Red on that. And shhh to Noldy on that.

Misheru....

>.>

Whole reread and you use the most recent quote? You sure you read the whole thread? I mean, I'd understand if you didn't.

It should be irrelevant where I get the information since I'm confirmed town

This is the crap I'm getting annoyed with

Why are you questioning me? I'm the one person you can trust 100%

Posted

We can trust you. But we shouldn't blindly take whatever you say. It comes into question whether or not you know something for fact or suspect it.

That is all we want to know. It's not that we don't trust you, but you can't go about and spew whatever the hell you like as if you are getting it from the Mafia Gods no one else can hear because you are the Holy Confirmed One.

Whatever you think of EP's game play is beside the point of his character. Voting for a character that is most likely town is a scummy act. Basel

I think he was clear Rand.

OK Nolder, answer me this, do you know he is town or do you think he is town.

^ This. It's one thing to say that you believe EP and Snow to be town. It's another thing entirely to KNOW that they are town. Even if you are mod confirmed doesn't mean that you automatically know these things. People trust what you say because you have been confirmed for now. So unless you're absolutely certain that they are town, your trust at this stage of the game could actually help them out if they were mafia.

That said, I believe that EP is town due to the character that he claimed (regardless of the play style before that). But that doesn't mean that is set 100% in stone. Snow I'm not certain of.

I also happen to agree with what Misheru posted about Basel. Voting for EP in light of the character he claimed is absolutely a scummy move unless there's information there that the rest of us aren't privy to. I still think Rand's cheerleading, trying not to draw too much attention to himself.

OK Nolder, answer me this, do you know he is town or do you think he is town.

Second the question. If Nol can provide a good explanation for his so-called knowledge that Snow and EP are town, I would unvote EP. But as things currently are, Nol seems to be acting as though being a mod-confirmed townie somehow makes him a better scumhunter. Really, Nol? Having a town read on someone does not mean that you know they are town. So please quit dodging the question that so many have asked: exactly how do you "know" they are town?

And how can you be so sure that EP is who he says he is? No CC yet means nothing. The real Snow could be laying low cause they suspect a plan to draw them out. Or it might be an inexperienced player who doesn't know that coming out now would catch EP flat-footed. I'm voting for the player, not the character, because I see nothing conclusive yet to let us know that EP is being honest with us.

Posted

And...nvm. I see now that Nol said he DID know that for a fact. So given that Snow and EP are both claimed town by the mod-confirmed townie, I think that Rand is still the way to go.

It's pretty obvious how he knows that they are town.

EP has been playing his game as town, no matter how annoying it is.

I agree with this, and nothing that you have said yet, Basel, has changed my mind.

vote Basel

Far too buzzed to want to reiterate what everyone has already said. Would be redundant.

But I trust Nol for obvious reasons, and if he says it, I buy it.

Unvote. Vote Basel.

Obvious to you. Guys, I'm the vig. I am town. And a man thinks that town would find me useful.

A man needs a name?

Vigs are only good if they let the Town know who they are killing. And let them offer input. Not decide, just offer input.
