My phone, which I primarily use, has been letting me read but not post. I have some time at the computer so I"m jotting down notes to post. As for the phone, I'm replacing it tomorrow. Once I catch up I'll post thoughts. It might not be until Monday night though...there's a lot to read through.

Not caught up but my thoughts before I call it a night (haven't gotten much sleep so please excuse the lousy typing):

 

I'm unsure of EP atm. He pulls these plans/plots as both town and scum and I'm not sure which he is currently. One thing from him that stood out is post #572. Here he states who he's suspicous of and questions why LZM has gone quiet. What stood out to me is EP's statement of "we can rule out being silenced because the odds of a day silencer are slim". This is an advanced game, just because chances are slim doesn't mean we can automatically rule it out.

 

Nol, you never did answer Red's question about knowing/asuming EP and John are town. I know they claimed Starks, which you are as well. They could still be lying. I personally am not sure of John Snow. At this point I have no reason not be beleive him.

 

On that note CCing...I believe sometimes it's good to do it right away and other times it's better to wait. I know this has already been covered by others. I could see, for the purpose of seeing where it goes/what info you can get, not CCing. This would be best early game. (no I'm not claiming either of their characters).

 

Despo's comment about seeing Red as scummy but not voting her felt odd/off to me. She even commented on it herself and said the reason was weak. He then again mentions it in post 596 adding he could easily be wrong about her, he's giving her time to possibly sway him? This just doesn't feel right. Of course you could be wrong, it's a given. That is unless you already know her alignment. He also says he feels Razen is "crazy scummy" but never cased him or said anything else about it that I saw. If he's "crazy scummy" why no case on him but mention Red?

 

Red I'm unsure of. The last game I played with her, I think it was the last game, she fake claimed some kind of part time cop role....had me convinced to the point I voted the real cop. I have a harder time reading her.

 

The people I'm unsure of I'll keep on eye on of course.

I've finished my reread and notes and am sorting through them trying to prioritize and clarify my thoughts. Getting really tired, but I'll toss a few notes out here now... more tomorrow.

 

NIghtstrike's error in forgetting Nol was mod confirmed as town doesn't really strike me as scummy, EP did the same thing. My memory isn't great sometimes but it's better than that... but I'm not willing to use that as a sole reason to suspect someone. The bit with his reaction to Peace's FOS does ping some, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if part of that was due to a language barrier as well. As I recall English is not his first language, and his choice of wording and attempt to explain it probably isn't coming across as well as he would like. The repeated insistence that he is town would be the most damning thing about his behavior, but I just can't see that as reason to think he is mafia.

 

Some of Red's comments and FOS's have been really... really... reaching. I'll provide specifics and quotes tomorrow once I have time to sort through the ones that stand out the most. Not sure what to make of that, because she's done that to me before when we were both town and sometimes I think it's done intentionally to provoke reactions. I'm still wary of her sudden decision to stop bulldogging EP and take Ishy's "playing like he's trying to get lynched" comment as a reason to consider him a jester and unvote him. He's clearly not a jester, he's playing his usual town game, as frustrating as many of us find it.

 

Ishy's defense of Kaylee raises an eyebrow. Last time I saw him do that they were on a mafia team together in her first game. I also found it interesting that Red basically defended Kaylee's lurkiness as a null tell, but she considered BG, LZM and Verbal good lynch candidates for lurking... specifically LZM, because she pointed out that his profile showed he had been online and posting elsewhere but not in this thread, which was exactly what Nol pointed out about Kaylee.

 

BG has been much quieter than expected, and his question about Red's obvious sarcasm pinged.

 

There's a lot more and some of it will require pulling quotes, and I'm just a bit too tired to do that tonight.

@Peace: how is my vote "opportunistic"? Does my vote somehow change EP's alignment? The fact remains, EP has been playing scummy. He can't get his story straight about how much canon he knows, and he had been spending half his time deflecting valid discussion into arguments over canon and such things as to what defines being a bastard. I think all the canon arguments on his part (till the mods stepped in and required that they stop) have been an attempt to keep the talk away from legitimate scumhunting which might focus on him. If I think he is scum, I should be entitled to vote for him... in fact I should be expected to vote for him.
