OK I've done a re-read and I've written a ton of notes wich is basically a summary of the game up to here, I'll post it in a little while after I've digested it a bit.

It turns out it's extremely difficult to represent a phonic statement through text without sounding stupid, but the point still stands.

I am gonna vote Random. He sounded like he was trying to get an easy lynch on the brand new player in Kronos, till someone pointed out that it was Kronos's first game, then he backpedaled awfully fast. Suspiciously fast, IMO.

Ok, so here is my extensive notes from the game so far. I've included every vote, unvotes where I felt it could possibly be significant, reasons for votes and other possibly significant things going on. I've tried to be objective and to the point and use people's own words. These notes were mostly for myself, but I thought the game might benefit from them. I've marked those whose allegience that's been confirmed by deaths. And I guess you understands that name1->name2 means name1 votes name2, and then it gets followed by a reason if one was given

Random posts player list; town read on Random, Nol, BB, Darthe, Suspicious of Mish, Starrik, Kae, thinks Rand and Kronos is scum, nothing on dice, basel, john due to little activity.

Random-> Kronos for starting somethng with Ishy, then fence-sitting.

Starry-> BB to poke her into activity, thinking she hasn't helped town much

BB FoSes Starry for pointless fluff vote

BB thinks Rand-Nolder has been going on too long and seems like blatant distancing

BB with WoT, looking mainly at Starry, Mish, Bas and Nol

Kae FoS twice on BB, for saying D2 is "this late in the game", and "us townies"

Rand-> BB after her WoT, for rolefishing, trying to get easy lynch on noob, and supplting town with false info.

First off: I'd really like to see more from John, he's been very quiet and not really contributed anything at all. But he's also been abscent from the GoT-game, so I guess RL is holding him away or something? Would also like to see more from Basel and dice; I

 

I think Rand is town, mostly because of Ishy's comment that he was fine with a Rand-lynch D2. Kae pings me; she was fine with lynching Cyan or Rand (rand after Ishy suggested it), and then repeats that she's fine with lynching Cyan. Got a bad gut feeling on Random, but I can't really pinpoint it, I think it's mostly because he's been going a bit after Rand and my gut says Rand is town. Another big ping right now though is BB; again I'm going mostly on gut feeling, but I don't feel like her play has been pro-town. The rest I don't really have much of a feeling either way for.

 

That's my initial reactions after my re-read. I'm gonna vote Kae.

Yeah, this late in the game, not neccessarily actual game time, but in game events. There was a lot to comment on and a lot of stuff happened. A vote for inactivity is a fluff vote, and if murky inactivity is the reason for the vote, then why not John Snow or Dice, who actually have maybe dive posts between them? It doesn't make sense.

 

How was I trying to get a lynch on Kronos...? o.O I said he was a noob...

 

And what other roles would there be in a basic? They're just the ones that came to mind at the time.

 

I don't have much experience with vigilantes, this is my first game with one, but I guess I don't reaaally need to know who the vig is, they're not gonna be scum, so I'll stop trying to figure it out.

Even if it is a fluff vote,BB, the point stands that in my gut I felt you were lurking. That isn't just low posting, but keeping in the shadows and not trying to scumhunt. Basel and dice have managed to fly under my activity radar so far, that might have something to do with the fact that I'm more aware of when you're posting. FoS on Basel for jumping in, voting with an ok-ish reason and not even addressing any of the other points around. You seem to be lurking too, as BB said. I've heard that seems to be your normal play style, but it doesn't seem very pro-town to me at all.

 

After this inactivity talk, I'm going to be scarce over the weekend due to limited internet access, but I will be back all guns blazing on Sunday evening. This isn't to say I'm gone, just not as active.

I barely even touched on Kronos, how was I pushing for a lynch on a noob?

 

I'm just curious about the vig, this is my first game with a vig, and I believe this is my first basic game as well, as backwards as that is, so you tell me, what other roles are there likely to be in this game minus the cop, the doc and a town roleblocker (and obviously the vig).

If it makes you nervous then I'll stop theorising about the vig.

 

So what were your points? That I was pushing for a Kronos lynch, which I think you made up, and that I'm rolefishing for the vig, because I was sharing a random gut feeling and what was the other one? Giving the town false information because I only came up with two important power roles? They were the ones I've come across and the ones I posted, if you have any ideas on what other roles it could be, feel free to share instead of just picking me up on it.

 

Get a real case and then come see me again.

This is a better observation than I gave credit. Either Nols is tunneling rand in a scum hunt, or distancing himself from a mafia buddy(but not who BB thinks). Nols has an unverified, non specific power role claim. So... If we lynch rand and he flips scum, this vets Nols to me. If he flips town, I'm think Nols is mafia and a clever liar, and his complete wrote off of my question about BB seems like distancing, to me. There's enough on her to at least say something.

Basically, if Rand flips town, I think we've got two mafia figured out. If he flips mafia, we've got a vet for Nols and one less scum.

By vet I mean that it will back up his claim. I'm not voting Nols cause I don't want to risk losing a power role with our cop gone, but it would help us greatly if we could prove he's being truthful.

Random has a very good point there, there's info we could get out of Rand even if he is town. In my re-read WoT I said I was getting a town read from him, but his attack on me afterwards and the ignoring of my response to his case and then demanding a response out of me has me leaning more towards scum. I'm not particularly sure about him anymore.

 

I'm reluctant to put a vote on him as I don't like premature votes so I will wait and see some more posts.

 

However, upon saying that, I have a rehearsal and an audition tomorrow, so I may not be what you'd describe as active.

Besides, Nols has also pushed for this lynch, a claimed town power role.

Even if a scum wanted rand lynched, his lynch is currently the most beneficial to town, in my opinion. As I stated before, it's the information that will lead to either the lynch of a scum (Rand), or out Nols as scum if Rand flips town.

Still interesting in seeing what you're talking about Mish. I went back after Ishy flipped mafia and couldn't find much of anything to tie him to anyone.

Well there was some discussion surrounding Rand around....page 7-10ish? Somewhere in there I think?

I believe it would net us the most useful information going in to Day 2

I don't like how Rand basically said he met the minimum requirement for posting so he can stay quiet if he wants but as of yet he hasn't done that which to me makes him seem nervous and concerned he may have to defend himself again

 

Lynching an inactive on the other hand will tell us relatively nothing about the people on the train

If the Cyan train goes nowhere, I can switch to Rand, I pretty much made the same case you did.

 

 

Ishy was very easy on going on a train on Rand; if they are team-mates then Ishy wouldn't have had to speak up here, the fact that he did makes me think that they are not teammates.

I still feel really nervous about John Snow and Basel...mostly because I can't tell if they are reading and choosing not to post...or just not posting...makes me get the feeling that I'm being watched :-0
