As he walked toward his home, he noticed a crowd had gathered near it. A young lady whom he recognized as the late prince's wife, seemed to have incited a riot.

"Get out, Derethi instigator!"

"We don't want another Duladen!"

A young lord, one he didn't know, stepped forward and, before Dilaf could do anything about it, slid his sword right between Dilaf's Dakhor-enlarged ribs. As blackness came on, he wondered who would lead Jaddeth's holy armies in to destroy them now...

Wow Basel, I seem to recall you using the exact same argument about me in the HP game, where you were scum and I was newbie town...

 

My read on Kae was obviously wrong, though at first she had Despo convinced too. That's why not I unvoted just to observe a bit more.

 

Ok, since this is literally his first ever game I think we should give him a D1 pass. If y'all agree, I can view him tonight to be sure he's a n00b town.

This is a hammer game, so it's not like we're up against a DL, anyways.

Yeah... so TRL flipping as the GF makes me worry even more about this post of Kae's that I already quoted earlier in the game.

 

I think it's a slip.

 

I mean, I think that it seems pretty obvious that I wasn't the best target to view last night, as Basel's claim is slightly hard to swallow in this game and verifiying his alignment would have been invaluable. Not just that, but Kae had seemed pretty set on viewing TRL to "make sure" he was town, yet changes her viewing target to me at the last second? TRL was def coming off as the scummiest yesterday, but we didn't want to vote him cause of the day 1 pass and everything. A subtle type cop player might have foregone viewing him since they would have figured he would get lynched anyways, but Kae all of a sudden declaring that she would view me instead seemed more like a mafioso in desperation mode.

 

Unless Kae gives us a mafia read on someone soon, I'm very much tempted to do something crazy like vote an un-CC'd claimed cop. Something else to consider too is that it might be possible that this game has no normal cop, and that Basel is telling the truth and perhaps we have some other kind of investigative role out there or something.

@Despo: I'm reading into your post that you are thinking Kae, if scum, switched her supposed view from Random to you at the last second in hopes of getting the real cop to view Random. Do I have this right?

 

Having no cop in this game would explain a great deal. It would not only explain Kae's odd viewing of you, as you noted, but it also balances out my overpowered role. On the other hand, it also means the GF was basically one huge red herring and the game is getting even less basic.

Kae, I don't see this as tunneling. And if you thought he has a personal problem with you, you can take it to pm's just like you are asking him to. Since you went ahead and posted it on the game thread I can only assume you meant it as game play. With a claimed sensor, town vig, and a mason group in the game, I can see there being no cop very easily. Very strange and large overreaction on your part imo.

The next morning, the other inhabitants of New Elantris found Raoden lying on the ground, the mantra of a Heod bubbling fom his lips.

If Rand flips anything but scum, Basel is a lying liar who lies.

So with your Theory Kae is the other scum from day 1? By you stating there were 2 scum on each list it should be blatantly obvious that Rand is scum from your perpective. Why not vote him to vet yourself...unless you already know how he will flip?
