And I thought July was busy - this month, everyone was even busier with the spam! Names are listed in alphabetical order - you can find your points under your name. I

 

If you find that you were not awarded points for a thread, it probably means either I missed the thread (in which case, bring it up here) or you crossed a threshold too late or in the month prior; a threshold (50,100,or 150 posts) must have been crossed within the month of of August (so the cutoff was midnight of the 31st) in order to gain points right now. The threads that were counted were not official threads created by staff (i.e. roll call, announcements) or game threads (mafia, wotopoly, etc.).

 

The person who earned the most hot thread points for August was Niel at 110 points. Therefore, he is awarded 10 extra points.

the government generally defines significant as 10%.

 

would you call significant approximately substantial, or would you like a set quantity, like say, 5,000 posts?

 

it doesn't matter, we're not getting points for it, except in special situations.

I'm not sure what time zone the cutoff was... my "show me the awesomest thing ever" got to 150 last night at 8:48 PM my time (before midnight Eastern) but was only counted as a 100 post hot thread. But that's OK, as long as I'll get the points for it going over 150 in September.
