MAFIA ALT ACCOUNTS

I like them. I guess that's good to know for people from now on though whenever they return.

 

I agree with Verbal though, as soon as people start using meta-based attacks in an alt-game... something has gone wrong and people aren't doing it right.

 

 

Also, its not that hard to keep the accounts straight guys. Open up a second browser that you don't use as often... for example, I use Chrome as my primary browser. I login to the alt using Firefox and use it really only for that game. I don't even check the game unless its in firefox.

 

When I'm at work where I only get IE, I only use my phone to check the Alt Game. Just compartamentalize and it solves the problems.

You aren't referring to the MJ alts as well, are you Verb? I don't mean restricting their use, but the fact that everyone revealed themselves over there? Cause switching to alts midgame was just lame imo, it really hurt the town.

I'd also like to add that DM is not MJ and it would kind of suck if things that are happening there effect what happens here

If the two communities are so tightly bound maybe we should all just start a completely separate forum for just us mafia players ya know?

Well, you did say that you saw there being pushes for everyone to reveal their true identities as alts, which didn't happen here at DM, but DID happen at MJ. There were a couple of people trying to guess true identities in Red's game, which was really dumb imo, but no push for mass reveal or anything like that

 

Both games have been mostly revealed by now, with the MJ one a little more blatant. Everybody tried at first to figure out who was who.

 

Also, the players are the same, so it doesn't really matter. I was thinking of only the DM game, but knowing how the MJ game is going and that most of the players are the same, I find this point rather moot.

 

Either way, they will come back. Just not now, that's all.

i'm sorry that its my game thats ruined the alts for people. needless to say, i'm more disappointed with ahving dropped the ball on modding than i am with the players. i've been modding for a while now and i've made more than a fair share of rookie modding mistakes this game. i'm sorry that i ruined the game even the scenes are starting to feel sub par now. *sigh*
