No, if it's a legit case, then I won't try to poke holes in his case. However, if the case is completely horrible, then of course I am going to point out how bad the case is.

 

You can have a legit case on someone who is not scum. For example, someone who was voting someone for jumping around on trains, not explaining his votes, and so on would have a legit case, but that person may not be scum. By legit case I mean that they have a point and are not stretching circumstances and trying to get someone lynched. Also, legit cases don't have to be that thorough with that much info, especially on day 1, that was just an example.

He dislikes her linking of you and him, and yet he calls Darthe out on following Wombs train of thought while leaving your pretty much blatant bandwagon of a vote unquestioned. I didn't agree with it before but, after being quizzed on it, he now ignores you. It's like asking for suspicion.

 

Darthe quoted Wombat's post and said it was for emphasis, then voted Ithi. Lily made no mention of anyone else's case when she placed her vote. Explain to me how her vote was bandwagoning. You're trumping up some weird stuff this game Tink.

A bandwagon vote doesn't really depend that much on how many votes are there to being with. It's a bandwagon vote if it's just joining a train without giving much reason or just using someone else's case

 

How does it matter if you've mentioned somebody elses name in your post? Bandwagon doesn't mean buddying up does it? Lily's vote was placed with 0 additional reasoning outside what anyone else has already said. I don't know why you're trying to point out that I'm "trumping weird things" when I haven't done anything far out of the ordinary.

Think it's pretty poor but not one to warrant a lead of so many votes before the game really starts. Your vote seemed opportunistic and fairly lazy if I'm honest.

Really? I don't think it depends on my alignment as much as how many games I'm playing and how busy I am in general. I'm definitely more active in basic games because I like them more. I sometimes find advanced games too confusing. Take the Avatar game for example. I never did figure out what was going on in that one.

I voted for Despo because he made a non content post without a vote, which is unlike him. It seemed like an 'I'm here honest' post. The lack of an initial vote also made me feel he wasn't voting because he did not want to draw attention to himself. This felt like a Mafia tell to me so I voted him.

 

Then Rand didn't deny being on the mafia team twice, he has a history of giving himself away by doing things like that, so I changed my vote for him.

 

I am sorry I am trying to find mafia though, and hopefully get them lynched. Perhaps you would prefer me to say I'm not voting for anyone, or limp onto another person's vote with no reasoning of my own. I don't intend to do that however, I prefer to actually play than watch. That is the whole point isn't it?

 

Ithi I get what you are saying but Rand's meta is a bit different then how you percieve it. It's the panic he does which mixes up what he wanted to say with what is actually true that gives him away. His statements were legit enough for a newer player.

 

Apparently you prefer to make a weak vote and that's good enough for day 1. I don't even know what to say about that.

 

Nobody really has a strong case at this point I don't like the case on you any more than the cases on Desp and Rand, you are coming off as trying to pull Ape or Mynd level misdirection, where as despo is basing your play on outdated Meta, Despo has not played with you since he returned iirc, I don't recall him being in the FF game which was your last. FTR Desp Ithi's play style is pretty aggressive.

 

This is a basic game. There shouldn't really be any 3rd party.

Her disregarding the SK seems like she hadn't thought about the setup before hand but her vote on Des was legit imo which is what makes me think that her "flail" was more of a nervous jump. Not saying she hasn't been playing scummy, but I can over look it for a shot at you right now.

And you don't control the majority. You control yourself, and your vote. Posting other people's thoughts "for emphasis" just makes it so you can be like "Oh no, it was Wombat's idea that those two were scum, not mine!", and is scummy.

I lol'd at this too. And although I can see your point about how someone can have a legit case on another townie, the way you phrased this def seems like a slip. Whether a case on you is legit or not, if you're town you should still defend yourself.

Just because you think Lily's reasoning for her vote was similar to someone else's doesn't mean she's bandwagoning. She could have come to the same conclusions I did separately on her own. Now if she had just come out and said "Despo's case on Ithi makes sense" and voted Ithi, THEN you could say she was bandwagoning. She made no mention of anyone else's case but her own.

 

That's the kind of thing you are trumping up. Plus the fact that you voted me to begin with - you said it was to get reactions. Well placing a weird jokeish vote on someone to "get reactions" is also trumping stuff up.

Sorry for being quiet guys. Trying to get used to this game; it's already a lot more advanced than my first game, wich was much more relaxed.

I think she means it's more serious. If I'm not mistaken, her first mafia game was in the WT (I thought they didn't even ALLOW mafia there? ), and that game was crazy vanilla. As in, not many really knew what they were doing lol
