I went inactive in one game. I wanted to be replaced but wasn't. One game I go inactive.

 

People go inactive all the tme, but you are attacking me for my one inactivity that happened while I was sick with the flu, had my husband training, and I was dealing with a death in the family?

 

The only person that remembers it or is upset over it is you. I didn't even remmeber what game you were talking about me getting revenge for till you mentioned inactivity.

How exactly have I been acting scummy? I've laid out a theory on how we can narrow down the odds in picking a likely scum. It was your reaction that was narrow minded and emotional. You know I am town, you are trying to build a case so that it appears to be my own fault for getting lynched in order for you to wipe your hands of it.

 

So again, how exactly am I acting scummy for posting my thoughts? Would I have even bothered if I was indeed scum?

 

BTW, you were active in other games during that time. I checked. You cost us the game. I think anyone who works really hard at trying to get a win only to have it foiled by an inactive who disappears without notice yet remains active in other games is right to be frustrated. You seem to remember the game now, but no matter. I believe your emotions are clouding your judgment big time.

People have votes placed on them all the time and don't get their panties in a bunch. Mynd gets a few votes and start attacking people. This is a game, and he is being rude and hateful. I won't play with that.

As I recall, There was an occasion were you seemed rather, delicatly put, "angry" aswell. It happens everyone. And as someone before said, it might be a playstyle aswell.

 

And I can't really say that I recommend playing Mafia when real life is upsidedown..

 

Anyway, that being said, fingers crossed that surgery goes well!

Yes it can when we need that person's vote to clinch a majority on an outed scum. We had the entire scum team out in the open, and one of them was at L-1. All we needed was your vote. Deadline hit and we were hosed. All that hard work in trapping them gone.

 

And lets be clear. There isn't anything personal here. I'm not attacking you as a person. I am critical of you as a player. If I suspect that there are emotional reasons for wanting me lynched, then I am going to bring them up.

This is just a game and if you can't leave your emotions out of it, then you probably shouldn't play....especially if you have surgery coming up, that's probably requiring your complete focus right now.

 

This is actually the basis of my frustration. I have three people voting me for reasons that are unfounded, and all occurred after Levity dropped out.

 

Nolder - refuses to unvote no matter what. I could reveal as finder and he would still keep his vote on me. Sounds like more than logic is behind his decision rather than scum hunting.

 

Nae-Nae - Her vote on me is in direct reaction to Levity dropping out of the game. Again, no basis on actual scum hunting.

 

Christine - Trying to make it personal when it's about gameplay. If you are about to have surgery, you probably shouldn't be playing any mafia games. Same thing if you can't be active, ask to be replaced. That way, when others work very hard at turning the tables on the mafia and getting them to L-1, you don't lose the game by disappearing.

 

To completely remove emotion from these games is to be Vulcan not human, but we have to remember that these are just games. I was pissed when we lost that game because Christine (and Songs to be fair) suddenly disappeared, especially when I saw Christine quite active in other games during that time. I voiced my frustration in the mafia rant thread and I felt that Chrstine's vote on me was motivated out of getting me back for the things I said rather than actual scum hunting.

 

Ironically, Darthe's vote on me is the only one that I feel is based on actual gameplay, and essentially validates my earlier theory. I've been town in nearly every game I've played on DM in the last 10 games, so if I didn't already know that I was town, I'd vote me too.

I understand that you can be annoyed by inactive players. But what I don´t understand is why you need to bring it up over and over again in another game.

The thing with this is. Mynd, you are a very strong player of these games because most already have an impression of you that makes almost everything you say WIFOM. Because of that people are afraid to jump on you, it almost certainly leads to their own lynch in this game. Getting rid of you either way is going to help the town because it helps out the Mafia in this instance. Haha this feels ironically like I am talking about Cadsuane. Regardless, if these games were played as wisely as they could be you would probably be voted off early in every game because you present too big a threat. That said, to correct your earlier statements Townies are most likely to play emotionally and scum is more likely to play rationally. The reasoning is that scum knows the outcome so their every result is fabricated, townies do not and so can only trust their own insight and others mishaps. So, your actions have not served the town. That in conjunction to your other plays is what leads me to believe that you are mafia, and painting me, nol, nae, and christine is scummy. I am sure that we will find one scum between the four now (especially if you are scum), but we will see.

 

Also, I wonder if you are playing this as a throwaway game to help vet yourself or confuse players as to your allegiance across other games. I'll be watching.
