I managed to screw up a votecount, and wrongly revealed Thorum as scum. Thorum then decided to reveal that Wombat was also mafia, and posted the quicktopic. Thus, there's no real way to continue.

This is the type of game that can be a nightmare for a Mod to handle, even for the best of us. I think Pandy had been doing a great job. It makes me sad that Thorum would throw a tantrum and out Wombat, his teammate, instead of trying to work something out with the Mod. I think Pandy felt terrible about the mistake, which could have been made by anyone, and it's pretty daggone selfish of Thorum to react the way he did. Remember, dead mafia players still win if the mafia wins in most cases.

 

Also, I would like to invite errrrbody to sign up for my epic Avengers mafia game, I have 20+ roles waiting for players like you.

- Most active players had up to this point indicated they had no idea what was going on, at which point it is always better to stop a game, rather than letting it drag on into boredom;

- Wombat would have had a VERY hard time against four roled townies. Not to call it an impossible task.

 

Remember, dead mafia players still win if the mafia wins in most cases.

Well, from a mafia team perspective, he could have given Womby a chance to recruit another mafia team member. Not much he could do for you, but your team deserved the chance to avenge you.

So instead of contacting the Mod and letting him make the call, you took it upon yourself to take a pee on everyone else's fun? Maybe I was in the minority, but I had this game figured out. I did lead the lynch on you, didn't I?

Really? Methinks you drastically underestimate our friend Womby's gaming skills. Not to mention the likely concession from Pandy to add another mafia player.

I prefer to hang loose, but I agree that no one likes to lose. I don't think Womby likes to lose because someone on his team was acting selfish. As much as you deserved a chance to talk your way out of your lynch, Womby deserved a chance to avenge your death. Selfish.

I've recently discovered that I really like teasing you.

I was going to type out a longish response, but I pretty much second Mynd on everything. Sure, a little while ago I said I wasn't sure what to think of the game, but that doesn't mean I wasn't enjoying it and figuring stuff out. That is, you know, how you play mafia. Sometimes you're confused, but you try to work it out. So to say you decided to end the game on our behalf, well, thanks but no thanks. I was really enjoying this game, and I didn't need you to decide for me that I wasn't. As for Wombat not being able to win, again, that's mafia. I've seen the mafia get down to 1 person before and that 1 person has still won.

 

Really not happy about this, this was my first game back after a hiatus and I was really enjoying it. Remind to never play mafia with you again, Thorum. Ah well, off to enjoy the Avengers mafia!

I know! I came back to mafia, and I was like, whoa, so that's a thing now?
