re: activity

Weird. Says the guy with second most votes yesterday. Go figure.

how are votes on me yesterday relevant to my vote on Levity today? not making the connection sorry

Your actions raised some eyebrows yesterday. Just find your hunt for inactives as a way to distance from that fact. I'm just pointing out the obvious.

Your reaction and the reaction of others should prove interesting moving forward.

Alright. You know what. Here is a reveal.

I am in a faction, and I have no idea who else is in it.

This post stinks. I dont buy this reveal at all. Its way to convenient to claim you do not know your Teammates, but are on a faction. Right after discussion of, if all factions are aware of each other. I want to see what you are hiding, by making this flimsy reveal. Vote Christine.

As for lynching inactivity, I dont know if I am ready to head down that road yet, I would rather give the Mod time to replace them if they cant stay active.

So, Trench, in a discussion on the topic of whether faction members are aware of each other you find it suspicious that someone responds that they, in fact, do not know who their faction members are? That logic has a few wholes in it. That said, there is only one faction that I see being in that situation: unaligned survivor. Since I am curious to find out if that is the case and probably won't trust her if she says that's what she is...

VOTE CHRISTINE

Also keeping my eye on Trench for that seriously flawed logic.

I agree with this post. Plus Christine was still my second from Day 1. Sounds to me like Christine is bird crumbing for a reveal later. vote christine

Sorry guys, I'm going to try to get back into this game later tonight. I'm just feeling really sick right now and trying to read the game isn't helping my headache.

Posted

jokes about my skill aside the game reads like multiple survivor teams so I don't know that there is necessarily an ideal day 1 lynch.

my question is do some of the teams know who their teammates are because I don't. Perhaps the teams who know their partners are considered the "scum"?

In my case the game is quite hard to strategize for because without knowledge of my mates, I could be involved in lynching them.

Interested to see if there are any conversions during a night phase or other surprises.. Wormbats eagerness to set a deadline leads me to believe that might be the case.

Oh and I'm awesome.

I'm pretty interested by those who are implying that factions are aware of their teammates (Red and Nolder). Either they are a member of a united faction--which would give them an advantage at this stage in the game because they could push their agenda--or they are alone and thus are guessing. Now, it's possible they are a member of a non-united faction attempting to mislead people, but why would you want to mislead your own faction?

(I added bolding.)

I think there have been many people throughout this game either stating or implying that they are on a faction and don't know who else is on it. Why does trench use that as logic to lynch Christine now?

Also, as aemon pointed out, trench has some "seriously flawed logic" in that post by thinking it is suspicious Christine posted her reveal right after discussion about whether or not all factions are aware of each other.

Mmeeshal I see where your coming from about Tina not claiming Greyjoy but you left out this post.

holy hell its APE! *man hug* thats pretty slick sakaea....sounds like your implying pats to be of lesser intelligence. Its the beginning of the game how could you slip up already.

Slip up? To follow the Ape might not be such a good strategy. lol

I do not believe me and Soy belong to the same faction so I will unvote and vote Soy.

She clearly states here that she is in a faction, and I am willing to Vote Tina as this particular post is the biggest ping I have had all game. Even if her hinting at Greyjoy is incorrect, she has stated she is in a faction. Also where she asked if there were any Greyjoys on her team, to me that is blantant role fishing.

Actually I think that the world scummy might not fit in this game since it doesn´t look like we have a mafia. And I´m perfectly happy with my vote on Soy. Any Greyjoys on my train?

He seems to want to lynch anyone who is in a faction, and I haven't seen much effort by him to try and determine whether or not anyone is or isn't in his own faction before he calls them out on this.

I'm good with voting Christine, as I did and said D1. Her faction "reveal" stinks, and I thought she was acting oddly D1 as well.

Vote Christine.

Anyway what I was trying to say;

I dont know the source material (haven't had a chance to read or watch them yet) so I would also like to know what The Spider is and why you think Christine would be part of that.

My understanding was that we would have mason groups, survivors, and a cult. I assumed that only the survivors wouldn't know who the others in their faction were. So Christine I has thrown me a bit. I just cant think as to why she would claim it if it was a lie though.

The fact she announced it like she wanted to make sure everyone knew when it when people already mentioned it. At least that's the feeling I got.

The Spider is a character in the books that is basically the spymaster of the realm. He has his own reasons for revealing information to those in power and his motives are unknown to any save himself. (At least that's what I took out of the books.)

This is now my opinion, but I believe that whomever brought up that Christine could be the Spider did so because of her reveal as not knowing who is on her team. Putting aside whether you believe that or not, the Spider as a character in this game wouldn't be out of place, and I would definitely think that they wouldn't know who their teammates are because they wouldn't have any. Perhaps a solo victory?

That is what originally caught my attention. It seems like faulty logic because many others have made similar claims.

I have a feeling at least one trying to lynch me is in the same boat as me that they know no one else in their faction. It shall b amusing to see what everyone flips.

Trench, your logic baffles me.

I am not an unaligned survivor. I will reveal no more than that. In fact, I cannot reveal as part of my role.

I do have more to say on this subject but I am on my way home and doing this on my phone while geting gas. Once I get home and translate whatever the hell I was typing at the bar, I will explain more and respond to the arguments.

I agree with you on both counts here. However, if someone could elaborate on this "Spider" theory a little more for those of us that haven't read these books, it would be helpful.

You have a role where you cannot reveal said role? This is interesting. And if you are in a faction, as you claim to be, that leads me to suspect one of two things. Cult, or faction leader. I am curious to see what this "role" of yours is, so Unvote, vote: Christine.

I glazed right over this... thanks for elaborating. Would the Spider make sense as a SK type of role? All I can picture in my head is the big spider in the LoTR/Hobbit.

Reveals:

Full character and role claims are allowed. Be advised, however, that there are a lot of factions and a lot of ways to die. Claim at your own peril.

Fake claims:

Fake claims are encouraged. So that those who do not know the books well are not disadvantaged, each player may request to be provided a fake claim from me once during the game via PM.

Why would Wombat have specific rules like this...

I have a feeling at least one trying to lynch me is in the same boat as me that they know no one else in their faction. It shall b amusing to see what everyone flips.

We know The Spider is in the game cos the OP tells us that. So he is around

Christine what you just said makes me think that you are a spy. It just sounds like it that you can't reveal

Alright, 2 things.

1. Tina is pinging me on the Greyjoy thing. Pushing that just a little hard. I mean, it's one thing to kind of breadcrumb who you are, but you're just going for overkill, as though... There is 32 people in this game, not enough to have all of house Greyjoy as part of the characters. I am betting that the role you were given as a fake claim is a Greyjoy. So, yeah.

2. I never thought I would agree with Red, but FoS Nolder.

I have no idea who else is in my faction. I am more than certain that I am not the only one like that. Given that statement, it seems to me as though you must known who is in your faction, which means you are probably a hindrance against others. Unvote: RedVOTE: NOLDER

The role she was given as a fake claim. Why would someone be given a fake claim...?

Im pretty sure this is the first time you state you dont know who is on your team

Ok, seriously, I don't get how others don't see Tina acting wierd about looking for Greyjoys. In my eyes, she is fake claiming and trying to get into their little group, then can ride till the end and claim her real role.As for why I voted for Nolder, it's because I think his post is odd. And you all say that he seems Day 1 town?1. What is town in this game? It's all of us against each other, right?2. Nolder seems town? THIS IS A SIGN!

...Like a spy?

Methinks that you might be seeing similarities between yourself and her which is why you are intent on this point. I dont know what a spy's role PM would be but is it possible that they have to get the other spies killed?

You still haven't voted for Tina even with all that evidence, because of one small statement my Nol. That leads me to think that you feel very threatened by what that statement implies. People knowing their teammates spoil plans you have maybe?

Ape, it isn't defending someone if you simply point out the facts.

I agree with you on Tina, but I still suspect Nolder. His line is scummy to me. I would gladly vote for Tina as well, but I can only choose one, and so my choice is Nol, for now.Yeah, to you people that ask me why I didn't vote for Tina when I thought she was scummy, I can only have one vote at a time. If I could have two, the second would be on Tina, but I had to choose one, and Nolder always seems to end up scummy. So, get off my back. The longer that this continues, I am seeing more defensiveness from Tina over Nolder, so my opinion on who is sketchier is shifting, but I am not ready to make that move yet.

I love that line lol

But for the post I think it takes place at about the time when there was equal trains? Or maybe Tina's was ahead by that point. I do know that soon after this post the train on Tina took off and Nol was left alone pretty much after that. You only switched right near the end when it was clear that the lynch would go no other way (same time as Red and she was the same team)

This leads me to believe that you weren't nearly half as keen to lynch as you made out

Posted

Christine I havent voted you. Ill wait

But how can you convince us not to vote you when you cant reveal? If you reveal now we will all assume it is a fake claim from Wombat

Posted

Player, re: fake claims -

Fake claims are encouraged. So that those who do not know the books well are not disadvantaged, each player may request to be provided a fake claim from me once during the game via PM.

My logic is not flawed just because someone does not agree with it. Ameon and Perfextionist want everyone to just dismiss my post out of hand as stupid. I'll admidt its not the most rock solid case I ever put together, but its not illogical to conclude that Christine's reveal was convenient and sketchy at best. I did not like the timing of it, and do not want to just take her at her word. She is either lying or is a neutral, I want to find out.
