[Basic] Village Mafia Sign-Ups!!

Hello, all! I've received permission to go ahead and post sign-ups for a basic game, so here you go!

 

Normally, this would be the part where I put copious amounts of flavor to catch your eye and make you all want to sign up.

 

HOWEVER, since I know you all will get more flavor than ever you thought to see in a basic, traditionally-themed game, I'm going to save it for the game. Suffice it to say, the lack of a "theme" won't matter here.

 

All right, folks, I'm not going to post my rules here, either--the only things you probably want to know up front are:

 

1. This is a coroner game (of course, but still, I need to let you know).

2. This is a DEADLINE game. I will start out on the long side, and post countdowns so everyone knows what time exactly to expect the phases to switch, and then I will shorten the phases to keep the game from getting too stale (although much of that depends on you guys!). I am open to adjusting deadlines based on activity, but I'm going to say up front that that will more likely mean you'll only get an extension if you're in the middle of an intense discussion and not if only one person is voting. We all like activity.

Also, being a deadline game, votes and unvotes will be accepted up until the deadline. So those of you used to hammer games, this is a lot different of a feel.

 

This is not only a basic game, but I hope a very newbie-friendly game. So, first-time players, feel free to sign up to get your feet wet! I know we'll have a couple of very experienced players here who can answer questions and explain things, and as a Mod I'm also very willing to answer questions and make this as fun a game as possible!

 

Okay, now, one last thing.... If you sign up, you're signing a contract here, agreeing to participate in the game. I understand that RL throws crap at people, and unexpected things happen. I also understand lurking is a technique some people employ, and some people don't like to talk unless they feel they have something worthwhile to contribute. So I do take things on a case-by-case basis.

 

HOWEVER, if you are in 5 games and are a severe mafia addict and you don't even know if you CAN handle that many games, don't sign up. If you have 5 minutes a day to read, think, AND post, don't sign up. If you know you're going on a long, internet-less vacation at some point in the near future, don't sign up. And if you're feeling lazy but are just signing up because what the heck, might as well....if you don't contribute, I will hunt you down IRL and tar and feather you.
