*ahem* We umm, we spent the last couple hours in the stairwell... mostly undisturbed by the horde. The maintenance guy decided he'd venture down to the 5th level to scout it out before we all left the stairs. He took that '86 Mets bat with him... frakkin' guy is bad ass. I sure wouldn't eff with him.

 

I was keeping watch on him, not sure how he did it but he walked straight up behind a couple of silhouette's at the other end of the 5th level corridor that leaves the stairwell... I couldn't tell if they were human or not, to be honest... except one, that stood on four legs... and then he lifted that bat off his shoulder and swung like the game depended on it...

 

He came upside the head of that four-legged beast... and there was a black shadow of blood that blocked out the faint light for just a moment, before its body crumbled over. The other outlines that were there with it, all converged on him... he tore ass back to the door and just made it in as I slammed the door right in the face of the other beasts that were after him.

 

He said the creature was "Dodger" the German Shepard that security kept down in the basement storage area - it was supposed to be the bomb sniffing, but we are guessing it was contaminated before the bomb was brought in... and that is why it was undetected. Which means the dog must've been poisoned by someone within the facility...

Sorry, just catching up after Rosh Hashana and having the kids yesterday. Have not read the whole thread yet and probably won't have time to before the deadline (catching up from 3 days off work), so I will vote:Pandy in hopes of avoiding a random lynch

 

 

This is basically Kiv's only post from D1. While I understand he had a holiday and his kids and work, it still seems really scummy to vote the person with the most number of votes without reading anything. Yeah, he did it to help avoid a random, but. I just don't like it.

He flip-flopped from panda to me, and we both turned out to be townies. I know I wanted pandy dead back then too, but if he was a mafia looking to Lynch someone- anyone, then panda and I made good targets. Why did he flip? Maybe at first he thought the case on me was too weak to get a Lynch at first, and joined me after pandy. Then when his scummates told him to switch to me, he recycled passed arguments against me, rephrased them and OMGUS'ed me like all heck.
